  1. The arms on the Elcon uprights are a lot more "cranked in" than the stock ones so whilst they are a direct replacement you might not be able to adjust the steering rods enough to make the wheels point straight,if you use them as they are you might get the front wheels seriously pointing toe out. You will need to fit shorter steering rods,Rover Man used part 6076/1 Hope it was okay to borrow the pic Dave
  2. Can we stay on topic please rather than turning into an episode of Top Gear
  3. The first one is a sticker set for the FG CAT lorry type body http://www.rc-car-online-shop.de/cgi-bin/c...n=0Tsuche--3062 The second link is a body detailing kit for the MT. http://www.rc-car-online-shop.de/cgi-bin/c...n=0Tsuche--6236
  4. rofl should be Mutilated 6. http://www.cmfhobbies.com/-RC-Model-Cars-a...-Buggy/1052.htm Looks like a Carson clone.
  5. Probably not a great deal now with the the re-release. The old and the new share a lot of common parts so it is quite easy to make a "vintage" one with the new parts.
  6. People that can't do anything other than resort to petty arguing to make a point.
  7. Why bother even setting it lock the brake up,or that is likely to do is stress the servo. I have always set my failsafe point with the steering in one direction and to just put the throttle to neutral. If the car is going very fast then it might just crash or failing that it will just turn in a circle till it runs out of momentum.
  8. When I had my MT and Marder the only things that broke (well bent) quite often were the shafts that hold the suspension arms. I had a few other small breakages but the shafts bent quite a lot.
  9. The Elcon stuff from Tornado Racing is good but not cheap http://www.tornadoracing.co.uk/ They are still quite competitivley (spell check!) priced with the official FG alloy stuff though.
  10. Okay folks now there are prices it isn't an excuse for a slanging match about how much he wants to sell his stuff for,if you dont like the prices then maybe make a sensible offer or failing that keep your comments to yourselves
  11. I think it would help a lot if you put some prices. People are cautious about making offers incase they are deemed too low and offence is taken. Even if you put ambitious prices to begin it might generate some banter and you might sell something
  12. Winner then Anything is beter than the £99.99 I paid for a 1GB card for my first PSP when it came out
  13. Then add delivery at £2.95,makes it slightly dearer than the 4GB one on Play which includes P&P
  14. The Sandisk one on Play.com is only £35.99 http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...GB/Product.html
  15. Okay but TBH I just wouldn't take the chance full stop. The seller I purchased from had a near peferct feedback record with loads of the same item sold before mine. Buy "official official" from a shop or a reputable on-line seller, not ebay. The card I had worked when I tried it but it was so slow to transfer anything to and from it.
  16. And most likely fake! If you can get a 4GB Sony card for £25 then something is wrong. I got stung,I found a site where it lists differnces between real and fake ones, the biggest giveaway was the hologram on the packaging that wasn't right when I took it to my local Sony centre. They have a light that they can shine on the hologram to find out if it is fake or not and mine was. I contacted the seller and they said I could have a refund which I did but it still doesn't get away from the fact they are selling counterfeit merchandise.
  17. You can now get a 8GB one. http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...GB/Product.html I got a 2GB Sandisk one http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/8803...GB/Product.html Lots of others to choose from http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype...h&pa=search
  18. Indeed,a few more hissy fits and this is getting a padlock.
  19. Hogzilla again? There was a program about that a while ago,it seems to crop up every once in a while. Last time they dug up the skeleton and found it wasn't really that big after all,it was big but not that big. http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...=image&cd=1
  20. Off road it's no contest. Unless you run the MT on very dry grass or tarmac it has little grip and just spins out and wheel spins very easily. The ST is likely to be the same given the tyres aso aren't knobbled in any way to get grip. At least with the Marders spiked tyres you can drive in a straighter line.
  21. You cant really bash any petrol car as hard as you can a nitro. The biggest thing against them is weight. With something weighing 9kg+ and heavy landing is going to be just that and there is always a chance of breaking something. Marders are quite tough and I didn't break much on mine but then again I was sensible and just drove it off road without doing any "silly" jumps. The Baja also has it weaks points, the shock shafts are prone to bending but again I haven't broke one on mine yet as I am sensible with what I attempt to do with it. I did break a drive shaft last weekend but that is all so far.
  22. Lat time I looked at this thread it was only on 3 pages, coming back today I find it is now 6. The only problem is there isn't 6 pages of pictures, most of it has just been idle chat about nothing to do with the subject on hand, keep it even somewhat on-topic please
