The TR system has bigger bearings all round! In the clutch cover and in the gear plate for the layshaft.

Get some solder bend it into a L shape and put it through the sprak plug hole. Turn the engine over a full cycle and remove the solder from the head it will have been squished! Measure it with a vernier caliper's you are lookinjg for .4mm of squish!

Yes indeed we will be stocking more and more MCD parts and hop-ups. We have a decent stock of spares already just nothing on the site as yet as I have to take pics of it all.

Dead right still not a baja! You can make a baja what you want. I dont think we will ever see the level of aftermarket for the MCD but they have more of a race pedigree than the baja there is room for them all as far as Im concerned. Long live the HPI baja! Hail the MCD!

This model is all about doing it. So there wont be any bling going on here only parts that make it better. I know the plastic gear carrier maybe a problem so will swap that out once I can get hold of the one I want. not had a change to run it off road just took out on the street and It looks like it will be alot of fun indeed. I have a full set of rear HRP MX's on black desperado's to go on it aswell for the off road stuff.

Well I did'nt want to be left out by the recent surge in MCD owners so I got my own. MCD 09 RR Comp 3 x Digi Rhino's Zen G270RC engine Lauterbacher clutch. Samba pipe RN Tuning filter and V-stack Killer RC kill switch Uber RC HPI adaptors Uber RC enclosed black wheel nuts Proline desperado rims HRP rear slicks all round Futaba 604 reciever. And some other parts im sure I forgot. Still waiting for the body to come back from the painter Jon Miller. Need to pick up a few other parts also. Alloy gear carrier and a vented tank cap. This will do for now though.

May well do. Not all colours we have are the new style. The new style is on all 5T wheels and it has driffted through to the B range. Id does make the wheel heavier but they do seem to be able to take it.

Ill be at both as well! Working up north the week before so the RC Demon bash ties in well for me. I will also be at the MMR event! The MMR event is all about fun also the track is the focal point but we have the indoor track for all night rippin and several large grassy area's also. Cheers Gareth

Dam thats a lot of grass. Have you done the mesh mod or got slammer dams fitted to the engine? There is going to be a whole lot of grass in and around the engine so be sure to take the cowlings off and get all the grass out from around then engine. Sweet as other wise.

Dam Mark that there vynal does look good indeed. I had my doubts when you were telling me about it. But is does look dam good. Nice effort.

To be fair any oil will do. I have heard of some using cooking oil. I have used Nitro air filter oil, Castol in can air filter oil and when desperate 2 stroke oil. All it needs to be is tacky to catch and hang onto the pesky little particles of dirt. The main thing about your air filter is regular maintenance!

Humm must have gelled up. Glad to hear you got it going good. I recently picked up a 09 RR need to build it now! They are ARTR just need an engine and radio gear added so nothing to big.
