  1. Thanks for the recommend. Any particular reason why brushed over brushless?
  2. Great question, I live in Sweden though so we have between 4 & 5 months of snow / year. shoulda specified that in the original post...
  3. Folks, just for clarity's sake, which Savage model are you all talking about?
  4. I'm no closer to making a decision but I'm loving the thread, thanks guys, keep it coming :-)
  5. Hi Darren I'm not fussed either way TBH, probably nitro but not emotionally invested either way. Cheers Andy Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. What makes it better in your opinion?
  6. What car would anyone recommend a for use in snow? I'm after essentially a basher, but i want something with a bit of poke and is tuneable so it will last for a few years with upgrades / hop ups etc. I was looking at a revo or a t-maxx, but anything considered. thanks andy
  7. No it spins in either direction.
  8. Hi, my cars developed a new problem, whenever I apply full brake, the car will spin out: Is this drag brake and if so, how do I correct the problem? Thanks Andy
  9. Yeah I realise, I just needed an approximation as I cant decide if its better to go for the instant fun of the rustler VXL with lipo's or the long term duration of the jato 3.3 and just put up with the initial hassle of running in and tuning. I'm basically looking for a super fast basher as I dont race and there are no clubs near me in deepest darkest Sweden (but there's LOTS of amazing places to run an RC car!).
  10. seriously? is that tarmac based racing? jeez maybe need to reconsider this thing if i have to buy new tires every hour!
  11. thanks for the offer, but i really want a jato.
  12. thats great, thanks for your help Aaron.
  13. Well if I could, I wouldnt need to ask.
  14. Driving like a nutter, its rated 4900 MAH. thanks
  15. Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of run time you can expect from the 11.1v trackpower LIPO. I'm thinking of running it in a Rustler VXL, I havent bought it yet so cant give you any indication of gearing etc. thanks
