I am having running problems.The two engines both take a little bit of time to start and when they do start they run almost flat out with the throttle closed and then stop.No matter what I do they will not run slowly.I have four hpi powered vehicles and they are easy to tune and they run fine.Maybe force engines are rubbish because my mt2 engine is .15 with not a lot of compression and it runs like a dream.When I take the carbs off and insert a pipe in the orifice you can feel the resistance in the hpi motor when you blow down the pipe compared to the force motors.I could take the inner shield off and pack the bearing with grease and try that.Any way thanks for your help.

Thanks for that.Are the shielded bearings fitted to nitro engines different to normal shielded bearings.I ask because I have fitted three different shielded bearings so far and they all let too much air get sucked into the crankcase.The way I am going it would be cheaper to buy a new engine.I have two force .15 engines with good compression and all I need are two 9x17x5 air tight shielded bearings and my hobao pirate 10 will be back on the road.It sounds so simple when I say it but where do I get them please.

Does anyone out there know where I can get replacement front bearings for my force .15 engine.I have fitted after market bearings but too much air is still being sucked past the bearing shields into the crankcase.Any help would be appreciated.Cheers.

There is a little O ring embedded in the actual crankshaft just behind the front bearing which stops the air being sucked into the crankcase.That is what I need.It is not shown on your pdf.The ofna wharehouse has the complete crank for sale with the ring fitted for 12 dollars but they want 43 dollars to post it.

Does anyone out there know where I can buy the little O rings that go on the crankshaft to form a seal on my force .15 engine please.My engine is in bits and this is all I need to fix it.

I need a carburettor for my grandsons pirate 10.It is the .15 engine. If anybody has one they want to sell could they let me know how much they want for it.He has damaged his and it is not reparable worse luck. cheers aysbirg.

Will a normal metal shielded bearing be a viable replacement for the original front bearing on my hobao pirate engine.If not where can I obtain the original which is a 689rs.cheers aysbirg

If I replace the 4.1 engine with a 4.6 on my savage 25 will the clutch and exaust system fit the larger size engine.I have sent for parts but if they do not cure my problem I will have to buy a new motor so I would appreciate some advice men.cheers aysbirg

Is the engine in the savage 25 a force engine and is it basically the same as present day nitro star 4.1.I have to ask as there is force .25 on ebay and I dont know if my roto start will bolt on. I would appreciate some help with this cheers aysbirg.
