  8. come on mate. 'talking out of your donkey'...thats just genius! i actually laughed out loud when i read that. rofl seriously though the only probs ive had with my stealth are due to my bad driving ( running into trees, goal posts and wooden posts) but apart from that i must say they do take a dam good thrashing! took her to the park today and flipped it about 3 times and the last one almost hit me in the chest but the darn thing just keeps on going. always starts on the 1st pull parts very easy to get hold of fast out of the box....even faster with a 16 tooth clutch bell!!
  9. my stealths been out of action for over a week now. hopefully it will be feeling better today. after a test run i'll be up for a meet soon...
  10. the stock clutch bell is a no name job i think as theres nothing written on it the one i have installed is a fastrax one when i took out the old one i did compare them and they were identical it may be my spacers so will take another look. unfortunatley i have a bigger problem now... after starting this thread i really wanted to get out in the sunshine so i went over to the park to test out the buggy with the new if loose clutch bell. i took out the piece of plastic that attaches the fuel tank via a screw to the buggy body as a temp fix as it was rubbing on the clutch bell. this left only one screw holding the fuel tank on....no probs so far the buggy started fine but after about 10 seconds cut out. this happened a few times then the whole buggy totally froze. it was like the brakes were on and the wheels wouldnt move after pulling the pull start the engine just didnt sound right so i didnt go any further and packed up and went home. now you would think that would really me off but for some strange reason it just hasnt fact is i just cant be arsed to check it out and strip it all again so im gonna leave it for a while and maybe look at it next week thanks for your replies so far guys. good work
  11. ive just installed a 15t clutch bell for my stealth ive noticed that if i over tighten the screw that attaches the clutch bell to the engine the whole thing goes rock solid and the buggy wont move just as if the brakes are on if i loosen it a bit the whole thing moves ok but im a bit worried the screw will end up falling out and cant remember if the screw was originally tight or not does this seem strange?? also ive noticed that now the teeth on the clutch bell rub slightly against the mount that attaches the fuel tank to the buggy. after closer inspection it turns out the old clutch bell must have done this as its worn slightly. (the mount is plastic ) when moving the buggy you can hear the rubbing but i havent taken it out for a run yet so im thinking it may just wear down until the noise/rubbing stops. is this safe?? adrian
  12. sorry to hear that ray r46 may be up for a meet tues if your around?
  13. ah ive seen threads like this before get a bit heated i'll summarise this for you... some use aro after every outing some use aro if leaving the buggy for a week some use aro once a month some never use aro some use wd40 personally i was told by the guy in the shop to use aro on my stealth after every run. after reading posts on here i now only use it if i leave my buggy for more than a week welcome to the forum and happy bashing
  14. well i was gonna see if you were around on tuesday for a bash but i guess thats out of the question now. hope you get it fixed soon mate. unlucky

  20. 25% all the way. thats what ive used from day one. dont forget to get a nitro starter pack. you'll need a glow starter, fuel bottle, wheel rench, batteries for transmitter and batteries for buggy. buy the hump pack ones if poss also a good idea to get an allen key set. very cheap good luck with everything mate. let us know how you get on
