  1. Cant wait for the maiden voyage, should be quick!
  2. power for this motor is 14s
  3. Bet you forgot you had left it on your shelf
  4. killer rc transmitter and receiver battery from killer rc, waited too long for the "uk dealer" to get them, now I will order direct
  5. no problems what so ever, both esc and motor very good, great service from mgm, tyres are the problem on my car, got some different mcd tyres now but not run them, hopefully those and a bit more esc programming "might" cure the tyre blowing,
  6. incredible, now if I was a lottery winner it would be a McLaren 720s or the new kooooooonnnnniiiggggsssseg
  7. no benefit, just reducing the amount of wires = less weight
  8. Wow that kind of money will get me a new high performance turbo, remap and some pukka wheels and tyres for my fs car I know where my next "wedge" is going
  9. mcd x5 run on 12s, note front tyres, this was doing a speed run, never got the speed as when it went "bang" i thought i'd damaged the esc, for m rr5 project i'm still using mgm esc but a tp motor, will see how that goes
  10. here's a pic of my motor with the adaptor on back, will post pic of car next
  11. got the 400amp esc and the lehner motor but in a mcd x5, i got both from mgm, they soldered an "adaptor" supplied by lehner that reduces from 6 to 3 wires,
  12. very nice too many cables from motor though you cant please everybody edit to say good look tomorrow
  13. lol I wouldn't either, not even rtr
  14. good esc from alien, I used the 350 amp esc, great for 16s with my tp motor but brakes and reverse were absolute crap, this is the reason why I turned to flier
  15. I have read thru mgm warranties on many forums, very difficult to make a claim as "they don't go wrong" "user end" is the problem" that's from mgm themselves, even so, I would recommend these esc's, some brilliant batteries out there, the graphene's certainly are right up there, if you're going to do brushless then you have to do it right, otherwise you will get "brushless is crap I went back to petrol" each to there own though
  16. if you only want to run 8s I would think about max 5 esc, 12s there is a flier 380 amp esc that is very good, tp motor 5860 is also very good, a lot cheaper than the mgm/lehner combo you are thinking about, horses for courses obviously , I have both combos running 12s both are brilliant, I just like to spend lol
  17. bought a 5000mah ni-mh battery for the tank, , great fun, still getting used to forward/backward with my right thumb but plenty of run time with the new battery to get used to it, lipo wont be till end of year, this is turning out to be one of my favourite r/c's
  18. just had a "play" such a learning curve, it's brilliant bearing in mind last tank I had was a "marx" cap firing tank, a lever to send it forward and backward, this is the BB version of the king tiger, will fill up soon
  19. thanks for that, I wiil get used to the tank as it is then try the new board later
  20. where do I download the instructions from?
