you could try touching the leads onto a 12v car battery its a bit hit or miss and is quite dangerous but does sometimes work

ah i see i just took another look at the reciever and you're right thanks for the replys much appreciated

can any one tell me how to do this? ie can i just plug a 6v battery on. or do i need a new reciever? someone told me to plug the 6v battery into the aux socket but the reverse servo is plugged in there. any advise would be much appreciated
