M-05 is good fun... i should know.. i had few....
But M-06 is great fun with it being RWD, it is almost off road 2wd buggy with really short arms and it is more complicated to build, perfect for that slow xmas afternoon. You need get good shocks i.e #54000 shocks and ball bearing... it can handle brushless power.
You can take them to club racing.
I personally recommond you a m06
When i was young and very stupid, I had a citreon AX GT with very poor brakes. I managed hit 140mph on big downhill "motorway 2" toward london, (tacho needle was in redline zone at 5th). car shook itself to pieces then it went very smooth as i think it flying in air instead on the road at that point. the car was knackered next day, i think i blew headgasket.
I am selling my rc because i have change of the heart.
