you can fit a hard drive to a ps2 it has to be a Maxtor IDE I believe it goes in the rear but you will need an adaptor & boot disc's to load games you can copy original games to h/d or if you can find other games from the net (back-up) of coarse you can also dump to the h/d the disc set you will need is called (PlayStation 2 PS2 HDAdvance Version 3.0 Hard Drive Enabler Disc) but if your ps2 dont read disc's mate your a bit out of luck.have a look on (modchipstore.com)for more info
