  1. Figured it out: 1) Hold down the button on the back of the transmitter and turn it on. The power light on the transmitter should flash. 2) Hold down the button on the receiver and turn it on. Wait a second or two and let go. The receiver light should flash then stay either on or off. If it's ON press the button again to turn it OFF and you should now be able to control the servos from the transmitter. 3)Hold your throttle and steering where you want them to be and then press the button on the receiver again to turn the light ON. (assuming brakes on, full left) 3)Turn the receiver off. Turn the Transmitter off. 4) Turn the Transmitter back on, turn the receiver back on. The car should now go into it's normal operation and perform it's failsafe for 2 seconds at the settings you chose. 5) Test by holding throttle full on and turn the Transmitter off. Throttle should cut and the car should steer left.
  2. Having trouble setting my failsafe. At the moment when I turn the transmitter off while the receiver is on the steering servo goes hard left (ok) but the throttle actually goes forward which doesn't take a genius to work out is "not good". the guide mentions use the "base setting" so I have tried: 1) Hold the button on the back of the transmitter and turn it on - transmitter flashes. Turn the receiver on - goes into current failsafe, can't change any servo positions from the transmitter. 2)Turn the transmitter on, hold the button on the receiver down and turn it on.. Receiver light flashes, can't change any servo positions from the transmitter. Further presses of the button on the receiver do nothing. 3)Turn the transmitter on , turn the receiver on, 2 seconds failsafe (the one I don't want) then normal operation, pressing the button on the receiver does nothing. 4) Press the button on the transmitter and turn it on (flashing light), same for the receiver (the tx and rx are identifying themselves now ) but still can't adjust anything (but not really surprised on this one. just trying it to cover all possibilities). Ideally I want brakes on when in failsafe. At the moment I have enough throttle to keep it moving. Any ideas?
