  1. I have one in my firestorm and although its my first 1/10th brushless, for fast bashing its great. Simple to use but plenty of power there. It can do donuts on grass with the standard pins easily(dont know if that helps any). Not tried the dirt hawgs yet. Its also great fun at the beach!!!!
  2. Do they need any special treatment, i.e. charged in single's before hand, balanced or discharged. Or will they be fine and sort themselves out after a few cycles? Any other advice i need to be aware of? Thanks alot.
  3. Hello again, I have some stick packs i have been using for a while still got plenty left in them(gp 3300's). I was wondering if there is any reason why i cant split them to make 6 cell side by side's? If i use the same 6 cells from each pack to build the new one's there shouldn't be a prob right? Running a firestorm flux and just wanted that extra bit of stability from the packs. I will be upgrading to 2c lipo eventually though.
  4. Ok matey, looks like some new cells will be ordered then. Thanks alot.
  5. Yeah mate they are. Must be about 2 years, still got some punch in them though and still take a decent charge. Thing is will the team orions be 'good enough' for the e-revo.
  6. Alright everyone, new around here so firstly Hi. I am needing some info, I currently have an e-maxx which runs on gp 12 or 14 cells, i have recently thought about upgrading to lipo but i think its too much hassle for me. However i was looking around for battery packs and have noticed that Team Orion have 4500mAh and 5100mAh packs. Now the question is this, are the team orion as good a cell pack as gp's usually are. All i really want is extra runtime but the gp's do have a nice performance (they are 3300mAh by the way) if the orion's are like that but also provide the extra runtime then its money well spent IMO. If it helps im planning on upgrading to the E-Revo after chrimbo.
