The ta-05 had a wee run today, but noticed a problem. The sidewinder esc is too big for the little are for the ESC, it messes around with the layout of the chassis, so i think i need a new ESC..........:whistling: I am thinking about the LRP A.I. and eraser combo from modelsport ( 9.5t ). Anyone used this combo before, or other recommendations?

Been looking at the G4 for ages, it's a thing of beauty, but getting spares now, would be a pain. What are you thinking about doing? An MMM in a T?

The screw pattern is a direct match, the emaxx box is slightly taller than the t one so will need a bit of shimming to raise it. At the moment its just a trial fit.

Recieved the TC today, motor fitted and ordered new servo horn's. The car is in mint condition:-)))

I only converted to brushed buddy, so dont have to worry about exploding diffs or nowt. It's not 100% but you get the idea.

Thats the reason i converted my T to an E, nitro is a pain IMO. I don't have time for it really. Anyway, the plastic chassis is fine, its the bulkheads that go if your harsh on it. Cant vouch for the new models but my old E would just eat bulks, then i got the RPM bulkhead braces and they were superb.

Which model of T is it? The older T's and E's had the same diffs as one and other. The newer T's and E's have the same diffs as well, ( i think). The older diffs can't handle the MMM.

^^^^^ Cheers Garry, been doing a wee bit reading and apparently alot of people get rid of the tamiya gears and use 64dp anyway so i think, i will go down that route.

Hello all, back again. Just a wee update. I have just won a ta-05 ifs on the bay, gonna buy some new gearing for it, Anyone know what tooth and pitch the standard spur is? I have a sidewinder/5700 combo sat doing nothing at the moment.......................recommend any gearing? Cheers for your help again.

Oh yeah...it is a rip off, dont get me wrong. Might end up doing the original suggestion of getting a shell and new wheels. Make a foam front bumper and its good.

Yeah it is pricey, but the revo shell i painted a while ago must have cost that once painted. I now have a fair few cans so it wont cost anything to paint. It is a fairly bulky item as well so.............................. Like motorway service stations.........you know you shouldn't...but.

Just measured the hyper, wheelbase approx 325mm, width approx 310mm. Shell dimensions, wheelbase 325mm, and surprise surprise width approx 310mm.

Cheers Snoopmaxx, your a star, one thing i was unsure of was can i get replacement shells. Dancer. Ok, just to get this straight..........Rally game was designed from 1/8th buggy's yeah? So in theory, these shells will fit straight on as discussed before.
