Hi all,
Can anyone please suggest a good 10th buggy for my 7 year old daughter?
Id like to go brushless but iv a feeling will be too fast. Is it possible to restrict the speed? I recall doing this on the nitros and petrol by adjusting the throttle servo rods but obviously not possible on electric. Would I need upgraded radio gear to do this?
Or should I look more at a brushed motor?
She wants a green body shell ideally.
Open to all suggestions.
Looking to spend between £150 and £200.
Thanks as always

Does TSM cause the servos to fight each other?
Would disabling TSM help prevent the servos from killing each other?
Seems a real shame that this happens

Oh I see, so the cut off is normal?
Glad it’s not just an issue I’m having.
Thanks again chaps 👍

Hi all,
Is it ok to put lipos into storage from a full charge?
i charged the batteries hoping to get out but didn’t manage to get out and it will be a few weeks till I can get out now so iv put them into storage.
my charger said something like charge time too long and stopped the storage charge…

Ah is that why they fail? Makes sense.
But doesn’t it look a bit odd / unbalanced with just the one servo?
Is there a blanking plate in place of the missing servo?

Hi all,
I like to keep my models as stock as possible, I don’t like fiddling if I don’t need to, but, I believe the E Revo servos WILL eventually need replacing.
Can anyone suggest a good set of replacement servos please?
Thanks

It’s a close one, I reckon the Zeees are a few mm too big.
Yeah sure, I will take some pics 👍
Seen a 6s kit which includes Traxxas ID double charger for £235 on Modelsport, that’s what PayPal credit is for eh? 😂

Absolutely gutted! The 3s Zeee lipos do not fit in the E Revo 😩 that’s a wasted £65!
looks like I’m going to have to spend £200 on Traxxas ID batteries and £95 on a Traxxas ID charger!

I’m planning to leave stock gearing, happy with standard performance and speed tbh.
For £65 I ordered a couple of 3s Zeee lipos.
I have a choice between 4s and 6sz
I am quite soft with my RCs, not into bashing them up.

Hi all,
I assume it’s ok to run my E Revo with 4s rather than 6s? Just until I can afford to buy a couple of 3s lipos. I am planning to use a couple of 2s I have from my other RCs.
Will it be massively underpowered? As the E Revo is quite a weighty truck.
Will the ESC be under less stress therefore last a bit longer?
Thanks

Hi all,
Has anyone ever used Zeee lipo batteries?
They are dirt cheap on Amazon and the reviews look good.
I value the opinions on here over Amazon though.
Thanks

Hi all,
Iv just bought a SKYRC T100 to charge my Lipo batteries.
Can someone please provide me with a link to the correct charging leads I need to purchase?
The manual does not seem to say which charging leads are required.
I have the charger, I have the batteries and I have a brand new Erevo ready to go but I can’t charge the batteries 😩
many thanks

Next question 😊
can non Traxxas batteries be charged on traxxas ID chargers? Is there a connector that converts the balance lead and deans into TRX?

This forum and its members never fail to help!
Fantastic help chaps, thank you 👍

Morning all,
just got an E Revo as a 40th birthday present and I’m very excited 😂
I have quite a few non traxxas 3s lipos for my other models but can I use them with the E Revo? Is there such thing as a connector / converter to connect the non traxxas batteries to the E Revo?
been out of the game for a while, I should know this really 😂
many thanks

Morning all,
Does anyone know the official name or part number of them little plastic clips used to harden the suspension on the likes of a hyper 7?
You clip them onto the suspension which causes the buggy ride height to increase and the suspension to compress.
I cannot find them on the hyper 7 manual.
Thank you

Just find it really odd that the charger would just die!

hi all,
A few weeks ago, I posted on here about my lipo batteries not charging, they were showing as over voltage on my lipo charger.
I thought it was the batteries that didn’t survive 2 years of no use. However, I just bought two new lipo batteries, connected them to the lipo charger and they also show over voltage!
could the lipo charger be faulty? Is this common?
thanks in advance

Hi all,
My Traxxas ID Lipo 2s battery has been away in the cupboard for a couple of years, I have a feeling I didn’t put into storage mode last time I used it.
Im using a Traxxas ID Ez Peak charger.
The battery will not complete a storage charge, the charger just sits one red LED and one flashing green LED.
However a balance charge seems to complete ok.
Any ideas why it won’t go into storage mode?
My rustler isn’t working just now so I can test the battery.
Any ideas please?
Thanks in advance

1 hour ago, locky said:
Re read the cell voltage as you just need to get them >3.0V per cell, otherwise most lipo chargers wont start charging. I suspect the battery isnt in good condition if its reading <3v per cell after 2 years storage.
It now seems to be charging on the 2s lipo setting… after using the NiCd setting to get the cells above 3v.- 2
