  1. Pm me a price for the esc if it's going mate. Cheers
  2. I would be interested in the esc if you split buddy.
  3. [quote name="Saabmania2" That's fine I'll give you a shout when they arrive
  4. Pinion to spur, place a strip of paper in between them and tighten then roll out the paper. Should hear light clicking when you rock the spur (backlash). What are you running on? Track or bashing? 40wt oil should do generally speaking but look on other threads for more.
  5. Not saying it can't be done on esc braking. Full brakes and thick center diff oil and you will cartwheel all over the shop. But one turn on the wrong screw and it happens easy with mechanical braking. It was at that point I enlisted my nitro friend to help me out lol
  6. More cons than pro's I found with mechanical braking. Lower run time, no reverse, weight and setting it up was a pain. But when it was set up correctly (nitro friend helped) the choice of brake biases was great. Esc brakes are just as good and won't flip you over it you go ass up lol
  7. Off your list I can answer one question that I can't see anyone else has (yet) the xb8 is the newest chassis from xray the xb9 is an older model (weird I know but it's down to front end changes. The 8 is pbs the 9 is C hub) I currently run an XB9E that has the same adjustment as the xb8 and to be honest it was a bit daunting at first, even coming from another 8th scale buggy to it. I used the stock setup for a while which worked really well with only changing tyres to help grip ect. Now that I've started to experiment with the settings things are getting better and better. Only downfall about Xray is the price of certain parts (carbon fibre to be specific) but you won't buy many as they just seem to be built like sherman tanks and just keep going.
  8. That's fine with me bud. I'm in no rush for them. I'll take both sizes when you get the weird ones in please.
  9. Hi Saab I'm after xb9 hub bearings again bud. 13/19/4 and 8/14/4 ten of each please. Let me know when you have any cheers.
  10. I chose the xb9e after I had a tekno'd hotbodies D8 hara. On a stock setup @PDMCC I was 4 seconds faster on a wet track with the xray than I was on a dry track with the D8 (geared for same speed). I love the look of the sworkz also the battery setup but guys I know have had problems with the nitro version due to breakages. Just one on xray plastic parts. I went over a kicker @ full speed front left wheel hit a concrete post. Only thing to break was an inner wheel bearing. Sworkz done the same only backwards and broke the rear ally hinge plate. Losi done exactly the same as I did and bent his front inner hinge pin. Draw back from xb9e is they moved to the xb8e already so parts might become scarce soon. Also they cost a fortune. So I haven't helped at all probably but just my opinion on the subject
