  1. The amperage draw from the Rocksta should be low, I dont invisage the wiring being a problem. As it goes, the little zippy 300 battery came and its doing the job just fine for now
  2. Sworkz evo2 buggy with xact 21 engine, exhaust. Smd starter box with new Halford gel battery. Savox servos included, no radio gear or lipo. £250 or swap for a rock crawler, or other interesting RC stuff!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi all - quick question. I have been looking at batteries for my Basha Rocksta crawler, and have found this : https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-450mah-2s-65c-lipo-e-flite-compatible-blade-130x-eflb3002s35.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwrO_MBRBxEiwAYJnDLN7Y0HoiD8NlHA1yrlEe8dNgF_fwK7u44xt2c0VGc0-VMN_YfP0OaBoC8v8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Looking at online videos, these seem to be about the biggest one can fit in the battery box of the Rocksta, however the connection is obviously wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction to wire the "balance style" plug on that battery (apologies i dont know its name) to a standard JST plug for the Rocksta? Thanks! Kev
  4. Hi all.. looking for some tyres / wheels for my emb-1 but not sure what to get. Have never had a micro before, or an electric so other than my nitro then im new to this. At the moment, we just race around the local community centre, (no carpet, just a sports hall floor)! Can anyone recommend a tyre that will grip best on this sort of floor? I know it wont be like carpet. I tried a set of mini pins and they seemed way better than the tyres that came with the emb-1 kit i built. I also need wheels.. help!
  5. Cheers guys - yes mine has the locked diff already. I guess, if i was to switch out the locked rear diff and fit normal tyres, it would be a normal touring car RC? Kev
  6. I dont use a Lipo bag... prob should though. I have one of these : https://www.hertsrcmodels.co.uk/product/Etronix_ET02008_PowerPal_80w_ACDC_Charger_id45857 Not sure how i rate it... this one is fine but I had one go bang on me, the screen displayed all garbled up characters and it took out the electrics in the house! After that I had a different one, that stopped working so this is my 3rd in 10 months. Seems fine but i guess, they are made in china with not much testing done so find a good one and you should be fine. Does all storage / charge / discharge / cycle / balance, and has an external balance board which makes it easier. Kev.
  7. Morning all. Picked up a Maverick Strada Evo DC for cheap money.. just missing its body shell. Managed to cut my old Ansmann Kryptonite truggy shell to make it fit, its OK not perfect. Car seems in really good condition, currently has A nImh battery pack but im going to convert it to deans and run a 2S lipo in it. Anything I need to know about these cars?
  8. : sWorkz Evo 2 : Engine : X-ACT .21 sportive Servos : Savox SC-1627MG x2 Pipe : Some novorossi thing RX : Sanwa MX-V Body shell badly painted by me SMD Evo starter box
  9. How much for the stock electrics? Is that ESC and Motor? Would need them posted too.
  10. Awesome cheers man Need to get an ESC and motor for it now, then hit the local community hall to tweek it and hopefully, get some racing in this winter
  11. Unfortunately not. Amiga's output @15khz not the standard 30 so most monitors wont sync. Your options are : 1. Use a TV via SCART 2. Get a Scandoubler / flickerfixer 3. Use Emulation HOWEVER - all is not lost. There's something on the horizon that MAY make me get a real a1200 again. http://www.kipper2k.com/accel600.html Thats the a600 version but the a1200 version is in development.. so compared to your 68030 (apollo)? - 128MB Fastmem RAM - Digital video output, - SD card for HDD storage - 64 bit core, full 32 bit compatibility - Directly update core from the Amiga without need for external programmer - FPU and 16 bit Audio is planned for future updates It is faster than an Amiga 1200 with a 68060 accelerator running at 80MHz. It generates very little heat, does not require a fan and doesn't dim your lights when you turn on the computer.
  12. Looks like a Grasshopper, i guess same period / make?
