  1. make sure the esc's are not in low voltage cut off mode at all
  2. use the ACC trim in the self level to try ang get it hovering steady
  3. I run a turnigy 9XR, want to get the orangeRX 1w 433mhz system for it for >5 mile range the 9xr is probably the best value for money transmitter on the market.
  4. Ive used the predators, attitudes and one mdel i cant remember and the attitudes were a clear winner, huge screen on them
  5. put I gain and limit at 0, put P gain at 50, and P limit at 60. P gain is for faster wobbling, if its not stable, lower it. if the copter seems sluggish to react to stick movements when the p limit is low, then its too low. with the auto stabilisation, when its on, limit is the amount of movement the copter can go, gain is how quickly is returns to level.
  6. it holds up very well, just the motor mounts are not very good, but apart from that its ace
  7. spent a night in a tree, 60ft up, damaged frame, damaged prop and most lilkely a dead battery

  11. I think i finally realised how to tune a KK2 board! my tricopter no longer flies like a drunk badger with a jetpack

  12. i REALLY REALLY wanna get me a 250 sized FPV quad!! was FPV'ing a lot with matt P, and was really enjoying it. i highly reccomend getting the MinimOSD for flying, it makes it 10x easier to fly FPV.
  13. Just ordered a tri-copter to make use of the spares i have lying around, after finding everything i need, came to a MASSIVE

  14. mostly blades theathering shaft main shaft tail boom gears
  15. start off with helicopters with maybe a fixed pitch heli, or if you are feeling brave, a MCPX. indoor micro helis are slighty more difficult to fly that larger ones, but come with much cheaper repair bills. helicopters are notorious for being difficult to fly, and they are, but rewarding when they work. one other reccomendation is getting a flight sim and putting in hours and hours of practice into it, will help loads when it comes to flying you also have to accept that you WILL crash, and you WILL have to fork out loads for spares
  16. ive had a hubsan fall from 100ft onto concrete, survived, they are PERFECT for learning how to fly
  17. turn it on when 'armed' hold the left stick min throttle, max right rudder, then move the right stick left and right till the lights blink. that re-calibrates the gyros
  18. new motors for the quadcopter 3525 850kv, very smooth, and very well balanced
