  1. at idle the engine should keep a consistent RPM if the engine is meshed or not. if your driving and the engine shifts, then it will over rev if your still accelerating as theres no resistance.

    as for engine bolts they are just m3 cap heads and about 12-15mm long. dont get rc specific ones as you'll pay like

  2. you ideally need a fast and torquey servo. allowing the brakes once set correctly to bite fast and strong. also have a look at fitting answer rc brake springs. they sit on the rods between the 2 pads putting constant pressure against the pads keeping them open, so the brakes dont drag, and stops them glazing
