My wife has a Mini Monster Baja which is the MLST2 with Lipo battery and different chell but its really good! She loves it!
-
You'll find that this is the case with most of the parts around the steering/suspension of the Micro-T, never tighten things off too much or the joints will bind and won't work as intended
Thanks for that it did work so my wife should love it!
-
Top and bottom. You don't have to loosen them much, just enough for the mounting points to be able to move.
Thanks I'll try that later on
-
loosen the screws slightly that are holding the shocks.
Is that both the top and the bottom ones?
Thanks for the assistance.

Hi
I have just fitted a new set of 3 racing shocks to my wifes micro T.
The problem is once they are compressed they are not returning to normal they just stay compressed!
If they are not fitted to the car they return to normal but as soon as I fit them they stop!
What is causing this and how can I fix it.
Thanks in advance

Ah the old annoying e-clips
I wrap a bag around the wheel first so that when the e-clip does ping off, and you can gurantee it will, when you least expect it to, it'll be caught in the bag.
I then stab thru the bag with a small jewelers screwdriver and use that to remove the e-clips.
It takes a bit of practice but you will soon figure out the technique for removing them, heres mine...
1) Get annoyed
2) Get more annoyed
3) Swear a bit
4) Stab self in the hand with screwdriver / knife
5) Swear some more
6) Stem the flow of blood
7) Realize the e-clip pinged off just before you stabbed yourself
8) Swear and stamp feet
9) Crawl about on your hands and knees with a magnet trying to locate poxy e-clip
10) Give in and order up some threaded axle stubs
Thanks for the advice, I have got threaded axels now thats why I need to get the damn e-clips off!!!!
-
try using a knife to remove the e clips
Is there any special technique to use to get the things off??

Hi
I have a little issue with my micro T, this morning I got to work nice and early so I could install the upgrades I have purchased for my wifes B-day pressie.
The first problem I have is that I cant get the damn E-clips off, when I got it, the previous owner had already turned the wheels around to give it a wider stance but now I can't get those damn E-clips off so that I can install my new threaded axels any tips on this!
The other problem I got is that I was trying to put it back together and had the screw, that holds the wheel in, in the pliers when PING off it flies accross the office and now I can't find it! so have ordered a set of screws from RC-model imports! Why is nothing ever easy

I ordered the losi 1/36 10250kV brushless motor, losi 1/36 micro brushless esc, sm22 micro servo and the sm22 servo saver
Josh
Thanks for that! will look into it in the near future.

I have just converted mine to brushless
I got everything from RCNUT.com and its in the UK
Any chance you can list the bits you ordered because its something I was considering myself

If I was paying for it, I'd say no. The guitar IMO is better than the one from GH3 (bigger, better feeling strum bar), but the drums are waaaay too hard to play, even on easy (I have no rhythm, that might be it), and there isn't any way I'm gonna sing on it. I'll leave that to the Mrs.
But the game itself is as good as GH3.
How do you get it for nothing then lol
-
Hopefully
He is bringing me the hop ups for my wifes micro T and the bits for my wifes Mini Monster Baja she can finally give it a good running then!
-
Sounds like its faulty to me I'd speak to where ever you got it from mate!
I have one of these and the only problem I have with it is When I turn on the car (after the Tx) Sometimes the wheels will go mental and then stop or sometimes I have to blip the throttle! I have tried a little trim on the throttle and its cured my squeeling esc but not the throttle thing any ideas?

lhs, i got my mine from modelsport and they ieally made gettin into nitro easy.. For the extra money ul probably get invaluable help too....
If you have a local hobby shop who does what you are after then you should go there as LHS are a dying bread and should be supported! If you have a prob you can normally pop in and they will help you out as much as they can!

t4ttyt3ddy, it appears that Modelsport do not stock the full parts list for the Mini LST2. Do they provide parts at special request, or do you go elsewhere?
How does your wife keep breaking it with such consistency? I can give my 7 year old brother a nitro-powered monster truck, and it comes back to me intact.
Cheers,
Mike
I had to phone Model Sport and they have ordered the parts in for me! though I have now been waiting 2 weeks for them!!
I have no Idea how she has broken it twice! The first time to be fair I do believe it was a fault from the off as the spur gear had been melted through!! The second Time Iguess it was just a lucky shot!
