  1. Its been awhile since i've been here, but i've just lost all interest in the hobby due to cost and have decided to sell everything.

The hong nor buggy has been converted to electric and has a 1717 motor, 150a esc and will come with a lipo battery to run it, few upgrades are on it though i don't remember anything specific.

The Baja was built up using mostly upgrades from companies like vertigo, gh racing, turtle racing, i-rc, silverback rc and used the electric conversion kit from castle. it will come with esc and motor however one of both is broken, i'm not sure which one it is, the shell was hand painted by myself and will include 2 3s lipos. there is a build thread on this car here:

you will also get all my spares and rc tools (including a full set of EDS hex drivers) along with the spektrum dx4 radio which i painted red, there is also 2 spare baja shells, 2 slash 4x4 shells, charger for the lipos and random other things.

basically you get every rc related thing i own.

The price is for everything i have.

Will not split and will not post, cash on collection only.

£350 for everything (i'll add more picture when and if i have time to do so)

Important note - Price reflects then fact these cars have not been using in over a year and have issues i can not resolve.

Baja has a ESC/Motor issue - hong nor has a damaged spur gear and needs a rebuild.

Please contact me on here on by email at "thunderwolfracing at gmail dot com"

i'll add more images as and when i can

  2. Not been around in a while but been hit with hard time and difficult curcumstances
which ultimatly means i have to put my beloved HPI Baja 5b up for sale.

you can find all the info on the ebay listing here but the main points to hit on is the £700ono £550ono price, the oddified 23cc race engine, the number of upgrades she has, and that she will have to be picked up. pics are below for refferance :)

  3. stream is going well if anyone was wondering.

the group is giving away a copy of Fallout 4 on your choice of console (be that PS4, Xbox One, or PC) so long as 2 conditions are met.

    1. the donations got over the groups goal of $500

    2. in order to be in the raffle, you need to donate $15 or more with #GGG15 in the comments

you can donate here, make sure we have a way to contact you (put msuk and you username so i know you are from the forum or something), so basicaly, abit fo time and about £10 for a good chance of winning a fallout 4 copy.

  4. Hi guys, probably noticed i've not been around for awhile.

    well here is why:

over the last few months i've been helping out with games for a 24 hour live stream, playing several game over the space of 24 hours.

totally forgot to post this earlier as we are now several hours into the stream but if anyone is interested, the link is below.

    http://www.twitch.tv/officialgoodguygamers

the charity helps hospitals buy equipment that is aimed for helping kids with various illnesses, operations and their general health. feel free to watch the stream, but if you feel like donating (and myself and the whole of The Good Guy Gamers would be very happy if you did) you can find a link in the description below the live stream. you will find a list of the games we will be playing in the same place. please note that the times listed are in EST so add 5 hours for the uk times :)

you will find me jumping in and out of the stream through out the remaining hours using variations of PimpLippy and Thunderwolf usernames in case you wanted to see how badly i suck.

at time of typing, we are 8/9 hours into the stream.

hope some of you will at least check it out and if you do please say hi. we aren't a big group, but i've come to call many of the members my friends, so while they are mostly raising money for kid in america, i don't mind, its important to them, which makes it important to me as well.

hope to see you there ;)

  5. Hi Guys

looking to get a 3d printer in the near future, never had one and hopefully buy the right one first time, im really only buying one as im sick of having to do with standard parts on my models and im wanting to be able to be free to just make something like a wishbone if I crash my Baja etc.

does anyone have one im like the look of the one on hobby king for

  6. The quality of 3D print files varies tremendously. There are some excellent ones on Thingverse but many have been made using primitive software and may be functional but are rough as hell.

Sometimes I think I'm banging my head against a brick wall in recommending Simplyfy3D. Pity they don't do a trial verson as the output is in a different league to things like Cura and once you've used it you realise just how primitive the free software is.

tbf not everyone can afford to cough up

  7. I've done my first print. I grabbed a hollow calibration cube from thingiverse. Here she is!

Pretty pleased if I'm honest! Woot!

This post annoys me very much.

it took ages to get the turnigy to print something like that and its still not doing it right.

  8. there are 11 screws to remove.

2 are under the sticker that says spektrum.

1 is under the front rubber grip.

1 is under the stick with DX4S written on it.

another is under the sticker with the spektrum logo.

4 are easy to find as you can see them without moving anything.

there are also 2 screws holding the AA battery tray in place.

you will need to remove the battery tray asway as the 3 stickers on the back of the tx and the sticker over the screen to get the 2 halves apart.

i took mine apart to paint the case red, and another one i painted purple and i've painted 2 others for people, it fairly easy once you know how.
