    slow boat from china .. on the 21/11/18 I ordered a Tamiya  bruiser clone from banggood . and it was posted on the 23/11/18 . it got here yesterday 22/2/19 that most be some sort of record even for banggood ..

      normally takes 4-6 weeks, but shipping costs and space has filled up on exports from china recently ( past few months) because of the trade negotiations with america :good: I guess it would be a bit quicker if you ordered it now.

      Lots of emails both ways  . Most of them from me  .. There was a delivery date in the small print  of over 3 mths  so I had to wait .. As for the car all working .. But the battery was plugged in and turned on .. So that's  had it ..  Good thing it was li-on  and not a lipo  ..

    It saddens me to be posting this but unfortunately we are being forced to close the track. As many of you know Crystal Palace rc track has survived at the mercy of the developers that have come and gone with there big ideas.
    It is now evident that the track is of no benefit to the park and doesn't not figure in there future plans.
    We would like to thank all those who have that have helped over the last few years.

    got to love yodel . so I have a email ... Your parcel has been delivered to a neighbour at no 6 as you were not in . {flat 5} .. flats 5and 6 are both being refurbished by the landlords .. and I live in flat 2 .. so hopefully I will retrieve it on Monday .. are il get no not here mate ..

      Well, unless you left instructions to leave it with a neighbour, it's up to them to refund you :) or the seller if they didn't get any insurance on the package.

      Same with me yesterday not yodel. But i opened my door to go out and saw her leaving my drive. I spooked her and she said "oh i thought nobody home so dropped it over the fence" But she didn't even knock and it was a tracked insured parcel. I didnt sign anything i presume she did. 

       

      So lazy they jus throw parcels like kids paper rounds to get onto the next without faffing at doors. Then when it goes wrong flatout refuse responsibility. With flats they should take more care to ensure. 

       

      Atleast theyve told you the wrong address so its on them just show them or the seller the mistake and hopfully they accept it. Worst comes to worst.

      Well, funnily enough Kev, when I spoke to a Parcelforce driver (so not sure how true it is) I was told by him, they are now asked to just check if they think someone is in, if not, sign for it and leave it and take a picture of it... Which is basically so they don't have to stand at the door for 30 seconds to give someone time to answer who is maybe on the toilet or something and they can get on with the next delivery.

      But, I've never had this with the good couriers, such as Parcelforce, Interlink and DPD... Only with Hermes and Yodel and such like.

      I always ask buyers now, especially for complete RC or expensive purchases who it will be sent by, if they won't send by either of those 3, I either don't buy it or just pay a bit extra to cover the extra cost.

    got to love tfl  . been sent a parking fine for parking at 10.30 in a bay were you can park between 10 and 4 ..

      already sorted with a phone call . the person at tfl did not know why it had been sent as there was no offence committed and cancel it . so all should be good. but made sure I got a name and reference no ....
