  1. I got the EDS ones as well! Bought mine from JESpares as well! Real nice tools!
  2. Nice one! Apart from looking a bit rough it should be fine, any probs. Will give you guys a shout.
  3. Yeah that is a tad early...I should be ok for about 8-9ish...depending how rough the night has been! Will try and get all my gear ready for the Sunday. I've got a skateboard ramp...never used it...is it worth bringing?
  4. sounds good as its more likely to be quieter then and less bother!
  5. Nice one...now just to arrange a time when we can all meet. I'm not available till after the 10th March. What kinda time or day suits people? Weekend, weekdays eves? etc Weekends are probably best for me, however I usually get tied up in family stuff. Little one is only 6months old..so takes priority at moment. Could do evenings when the days become longer.
  6. Cool, would like to check a Savage out..not really had the pleasure of checking one out! Got the Losi LST XXL myself. So should be fun with a couple of MT's! Even though this is my 4th Nitro car...I would still consider myself to be bit of a noob. Can do basic tuning but really self taught. Thats why I think it would be good to start running my car with other people! So where abouts near Trafford Centre are you?? I'm in Eccles. So Costco is just down the road from me. Seen a couple of people run Nitros round there...but usually seen road cars and buggies!
  7. Not run my car for a while (about 2 years)...will have to dust off the cob webs! So may take me a while to get mine up and running! But Definitely up for trying to get a lil meet together! I've done Bruntwood a couple of times. Never got to run on the BMX tracks as there has always been people there...but usually run on the field next to it! So what type of cars to people have???
  8. Hey mate, I'm round there...found a couple of places which aren't to bad. There is the costco carpark (but dunkin donut side) which is just tarmac. And this place http://goo.gl/maps/5wCH Its got a gravel car park, and then a couple of rugby pitches. As long as you don't rip them up its been fine. No problems there.
  9. Do you mean roll cage? If so the new era one is supposed to be the only choice. But being from the states....delivery costs a fortune!
  10. I bought all mine from JE SPares, as that's local to me. Yeah they do Imperial...I think however the LST need at least 1 metric driver! I tend to use my tools to rebuild, but electric screw driver to strip down! Saves sooo much time!
  11. I've heard dishwashers but expect a beating from the Mrs! Got loads of EDS tools...very nice
  12. Another for the xxl...if you got an aftershock, you would just want to upgrade all the bits to the xxl ones anyway. So will work out cheaper in the long run!
  13. Vim Trafford, Manchester Losi LST XXL
  14. It was the one on the rear. The screw is in the cup that has the dogbone in it. To be honest...I need to go through all the screws again and re loctite mine. I gave it as service when I packed it away, but will need to reservice it when I pull it out. Just don't have the motivation as before My bro used to have a truck as well, and now he's got rid of his. Tis a bit boring bashing on your own! Will have to wait a few years till my little one is old enough to come out with his dad!! You guys are doing well with the prices from Merlin!!! I bought mine second hand for
  15. Whats the lowest you'll go to...was thinking the
  16. The first few times I had it out were great...no breakages. The last time I had it out...possibly close to a year a go, the small grub screw on the diff fell out so only had front wheel drive. But apart from that loving the truck. Removed the heat monitor wire as it was always beeping at me it was too hot. Not got a temp gun myself but had it checked out and the reading is way off. Loving the new specktrum compared to the first LST. Also love the fact its pull start as well, no need to carry the e starter round with me! Hows yours, you getting to run yours lately?
  17. Been poking my head in out this forum for a few days now... Usually check out the LSTforums as found them really helpful in the past. I got a Losi LST XXL, had it for a while. Only used it a handful of times as family life seems to keep me busy! This is the second one I've had, first was the LST then this one, which funnily enough was bought from Fatbear (one of the first LST owners). Anyway just popped in to say Hi, and live in Manchester near Trafford Centre. If people are bashing local, might be tempted to blow of the dust and get the truck out for a spin!
