It's just ridiculous how much fun it is. ha ha. My previous 30cc Fs racing buggy was cheap made but still fun if you were careful with the suspension arms. This car just takes it to a much better level. I do wonder if a lipo battery would be worth while for the servos to run a bit faster. More power isn't really necessary but maybe faster steering would be nice.......
🙂🙂🙂👍🏻
Awesome stuff bud 🙂
So glad you're happy and enjoying the buggy 🙂👍🏻
I did quite a bit of the RnD on the buggy in it's beginning stages, so it's always nice to hear when people are Happy 🙂👍🏻
(Or even when they're not, I'd rather they talk with us so we know, and can help to improve thing's, than them go off on a social media rant lol 😁)
Yeah we did debate a lipo, and when choosing the K-Power D-4000 servos it did mean they were 7.4v 2s lipo ready 👍🏻
But not everyone is keen still on using a lipo,
While the Nimh battery being the safer option for people,
The lipo will allow the K-Power to run at approximately 50kg Torque 😉 and a faster response speed too 👍🏻
There has been a few that have done it,
But it is a tight box,
So while something that will fit the likes of the 5ive-T, will also go in the 30° box, some have modified their lids,
I'm sure you'll figure something out if you go down that route though 🙂👍🏻
Have fun bud,
Enjoy 🙂👍🏻

Oh this Buggy is 'Definitely' not a copy of anything else that's for certain
There's often bits on every model out there, that isn't to somebody's taste
That's just part of the hobby
And what makes it Great to have lots of different ones to choose from
On this there are 'Lots' of nice touches and changes that help make it stand out
With the Centre spool it may well be possible to make it RWD only,
Should someone, for some reason ever fancy giving it a go
No it's not my buggy
Nor did I design it, but I've had a big part in the improvements
And changes I felt it wanted before it's final release to the UK market
The same way I did with, and still do, with the FID Dragon Hammer
The testing is Great fun
But it's not as easy as perhaps people expect it to be
It's time very consuming, and the time differences between the UK and China often means I'm up very early in the morning speaking with them on my finding's,
And explaining what to do to improve things should there be anything I feel needs it
Then once anything is done, it has to be fully retested, and then reported on all over again
And repeat if needed
It's all worth it though to get these Crackin vehicles out for others to enjoy, and love themselves
And at the end of the day, it's ALL about you guys having fun, and enjoying yourselves, and if that happens,
Then I'm a Happy Bunny

The 5th scale rc car stands are what turned me away. They are £20 ebay keyboard stands with rcmodelz stickers on.
You're not wrong
That's something they can be used for certainly
But our stands are £14.99
And we buy 'Direct' from the maker of the stands,
Even our Boxes have our 'RCMz' branding on them
But if people choose to look at thing's in a certain way, then that is All they will ever see

I'll happily make you some replacement front's if you want Kenny
But I will let you know when they're ready
Any thoughts colour wise?

mark when making them can you get a better clamping on them
It's ME who makes them
Think I said to you via messenger before though
If you send me back your problem one's
I'll make you up some more
I did have a small batch of poor eyelets which wouldn't hold on the cables properly
But there was very few
So by all means give me a shout and I'll give you my personal address
Just been looking at the buggy one's this afternoon
-
I'll get some limiting cables made up for these too
(I make all the others )
So I'll look into the sizes and what's needed and build up some kits

WOW
looks STUNNING

He's a kind of a 'Strange' guy all round

Why ???.
Exactly
14 hours ago, kenny_st said:Hahaha Trust me Kenny that's one of the German guys who works with us
He's done some 'Very Strange' stuff to his
In fact what your looking at isn't a buggy at all any more
It's the TRUCK
He's used a truck chassis, engine, tank, radio tray (although Area Rc) fuel tank, driveshafts, chassis braces, centre towers, centre diff, diff to engine brace,
Flipped the engine around and used a strange pipe
He's then put on the Wing, Bumper, Arm set, from the 30° North Buggy
Baja rear wheels all round (that's why the tyres are so stretched)
Some very odd air box I think he's made
All that so he can make it 'Different'
He messages me with these crazy thing'
(Which I have to translate in Google)
And I often ask him why
He cut up a Graffil body, chopped up a Truck rollcage, and made it go on the Buggy
To say it looked terrible was an understatement
But he seemed happy with himself
As Dave said though, 'May as well of bought a losi buggy' than made ^^^ That much of a mess of a 30° buggy
*Edit....
Did you notice the 'Losi' shocks too
No one but he knows why yet

This could the first largescale rc which I may never have to upgrade, wish the other four I have had been so cost effective!!.
Oh you'll always find bits to play with along the way
I have done the same with the Dragon Hammer development,
Now that package is unreal

Excellent news, was thinking they might need a swap out. after the vid with your good self and Joel @ Bashfest, I saw Savox in the car.
That's because the initial installed ones were 'JX'
Which Both failed
I had the Savox one's in my spares box, so popped them in to keep going
So I chose not to go with the offered 'JX' servos,
And opted for the proven K-Power 4000 Digital servos to put in ours
Which also means you've no need to worry about upgrading the servos,
As we thought ahead to make sure you get a good package for your money

Good to hear it’s the 8k clutch. Only reason I said servo speed was I found on my Losi 5ive the stock throttle servo was very slow, even with a fully charged battery, change to a Savox 236 and never looked back !!.
The K-Power servos are better than Savox,
With a Higher Torque rating, & Speeds

Is it normal for the buggy to take a lot of throttle for it to move, about half throttle. its ok just need a good run
Have you checked your End Points are okay?
Or the collet behind the servo saver
38 minutes ago, QRC said:Clutch ??. Servo speed ??.
Clutch is an 8k spring
If you are used to a 6k
It may seem like the engine is taking longer,
Or Rev'ing higher before the buggy begins to move forward
That's totally normal
As long as the battery charge isn't low,
Then the servo speed should be fine

Looking to change the air filter to make more room to get at battery box any ideas
It's totally your choice if you want to change it,
But that box and set up is so good we are having to bring it tons more because people want to fit it onto 'Everything' else
Yes it's tight at the battery lid,
But how often do you really need to be in and out?
Is it really enough to get rid of an air box set up like that?
I'm not sure you'd get that Round version under the body shell without cutting out some of the body,
But it's totally your call

Including MSUK
In fact right from the start when Nick first set it all up
And I have run & started Large forum's too
But I simply don't have the time to do them all these day's unfortunately
And don't have Twitter or Instagram either I'm afraid

15 minutes ago, pflatoutbj said:Like to see alloy shock towers, Alloy Rear Chassis Guard / Skid Plate f/r,Chassis Brace ,do any of the KM X2 & Losi 5ive Upgrades fit
All ready in planning
The KM X2 & 5ive-T parts are doubtful,
The towers & braces are very different,
It's not based on either so you'd have to do some big changes to make stuff fit from them,
The Towers from something like a TLR 5b may fit, but there wouldn't be any gain doing that?
Like I've said, the more people ask companies to build stuff, the more they're likely to listen

To be honest these isn’t much I would start altering out of the box. As long as some of the plastic parts are strong and can flex, what’s the point in changing to alloy, unless you want bling.
Should be able to start break in the engine this week, Tuesday, then start put it through its paces .
Totally Agree
Have fun on Tuesday

Hi, over the last couple of days I've tested out several Killswitch systems to ensure they will function correctly with the new Noble NB4 radio,
And the Switchblade does need a couple of small tweaks doing to the settings on the radio to ensure it will work correctly 🙂
You basically have to alter the frequency frame rate, this is done in the RX settings,
I've put together an easy to follow set of directions for anyone wanting to do this on their NOBLE NB4 handsets 🙂👍🏻
I'll pop you a link to follow the instructions on how to do it 👍🏻
