    I bought a TV for a fiver, but no remote with it. If I get a universal remote control, do I have to program it to the TV, or does it 'just work'?

      you have to program it first there should be a list of tv`s on the package as to wich code you have to put in

      Just go on ebay and see if you can get the same remote for your tv you will prob get one for a couple of quid

      The correct remote is a £11, a universal one is £2. If it's just a code to punch in that's fine, I was having visions of having to point a remote at it and press buttons XD
