  1. The VK36 is great...the KV85 is still good/great ( was the KV1S) but gun depression is bad...the AT8 mmmm never have or will play it I have and like the AT2 though...recently got the IS, decent gun but constantly being put into tier IX battles, unlocked but not bought IS3. To be honest I am not a fan of the higher tiers and find fun around the middle with KV1...M4...Sherman Jumbo...AT2...etc.
  2. There could be many reasons...without seeing/hearing/adjusting it I am weeing into the wind....but new engines can be a pain just ensure it is rich...get the run in done and go from there.
  3. Ditch the AA batteries and get a 6v nimh pack and charger. Is the radio system 2.4ghz...if so I would expect it to have a built in failsafe that would work for signal loss and low voltage- it may need setting to work. If not 2.4 then get a failsafe.
  4. Until it is fully ran in then I would not worry.....just ensure the throttle is returning as you have and also the LSN is rich...my setting for LSN is head of screw 0.5mm out from flush...that is usually plenty rich but just wind it out until gluggy stall happens then you know where too rich is.
  5. The eight port usually has an all in one button and head...part number H21002....The seperate button part number is H21037 for the standard plug and H21037T for turbo plug. All parts between the Hobao .21 engines interchange unless it is a Pro version and even then the only differences are casing/crank and bearings.
  6. Saw your post on the WOT forum about spending money...lol...shame we can not cross platform...yet.
  7. It is ok...but 99 quid....mmm...if it has the clutch/flywheel/carb/exhaust and you need all that then go for it....but do you need all that? What are you replacing?
  8. A friend of mine had one many years ago and asked me to tune it.....he was new and he knew me..... I thought it was ok, easy to tune and adequate performance... just a Force engine.
  9. I would need to measure depth also here....I have the MacStar .28 ( the Mach.28 is a SH engine) and I have SH.28 engine variants....Hobao is MAC STAR...a six port variation of the Hyper .21.
  10. The "usual" SH .28 has a roundish upper part to the engine block...the other is square. Look at images on Google for Losi 454...does your engine block look like that?...pay attention to area below cooling head, around crank and below carb.
  11. If it is a usual SH.28 then the closed back plate from the Losi 454 is what you need.
  12. WD40 is not something I would use as after run/storage oil......I always run my engines dry after use....and use light oil....air tool oil,ATF...that kind of thing. Put some WD40 into a bottle top and leave it for a few days....
  13. along with that open the HSN at least one whole turn and hold the throttle wide open once you reconnect the pipe to the carrb....then blow job again....engine should be well primed.
  14. If. you say what engine it would help...big/small block engines are not all the same....more thinking needed.
  15. Xbone, PS4 and PC....and is all weekend.
  16. Today and tomorrow I think...personally I will not be buying the full game as it is a bit too "Destiny" for me...but try the beta for free.
  17. The .28 Macstar engine is virtually no different to the .21....easy to tune.
  18. You can not buy a new Hyper with a Force engine........the Macstar .28 is the cheaper engine option for the Hyper...
  19. Drop the "r" from my name please..my forename is Antony and my surname Hooper...hence Anthoop. The layout for Twitch is low compared to what I see people making in donations...let alone subscriptions.....as I said at the top...3k USD in an hour or so..sure you need something but are people just donating back and forth? I stilll do not get it...why donate a few quid to someone that has many followers ( that donate) when you can sit and watch for free?
  20. Are you saying I could earn money too?....I fit into those categories...
  21. I have been watching various people on various games....mmm...last night I saw a guy get more than three thousand USD in donations in the hour I was watching...sure you need to be entertaining but I was watching for free...why do people donate?
  22. I of course agree...but if someone asks what is the best then I am going to give my opinion. If the question is more focused on what is a good engine on a limited budget then I am with that because I am a tight arse.
  23. As said before these little "nitro" engines are very different to a mini moto engine but they do both use the same principals...for these little engines in cars then the percentage of oil in the fuel is down to the type of oil used....personally I will always want some castor oil ( because it will protect the engine when it runs slightly lean)....I want synthetic oil because it is thinner and my engine will still be lubricated but will produce more power than running ( stodgy) castor oil only...The type and mix of oils along with how much oil is totally down to your experience....I would never recommend a new commer to run 9% oil of any type/mix. The *silicone inserts* into the crrank are not inserts....some cranks have a void ( and you can even drill a void and fill it)....but this is something that I would say is useless, by drilling out the centre of the crank you make it lighter...but the weight you remove is in/near the center....not much change....look up "silicone filling", "silicone ramping".
  24. The Hyper.21 is a great RTR engine but it is nothing compared to an on road Novarossi Virtus...lol.....even with modification the Hyper will not compare... I think you need to do some more searching/investigation before spending money.....you want a decent exhaust?...then look at boat pipes...oh, they are long...but hey you want power right?...
