as for the shells i found a guy on ebay that makes fiberglass copies so i took my buggy to him today and the leopard shell fits mint with just minor mods so i've bought one only

hi i'm on the grab for help again lol
i've been out with my buggy today and buggered my steering sevo! was just wondering what would be the best sevo to get???

cheers for your help

-
hi i'm new to big scale petrol buggies so i hope you can help?
i've got a hobbypro mutilator 6 and if i go on the local bmx track and potter about doing the odd jump or two after about 5 minutes the engine boggs and wants to die, if it's left for a while and then took out again but on the field and use at the top end speeds it will run all day without a problem - my fuel mix is 200ml of oil to 5l of fuel and the carb settings are as they came out of the box.
any ideas people???????????

will any hump fit
as long as it doesn't sit higher than 2 AA's if you want it to sit where it shoud fit, if you're not bothered about it sitting on to of your radio plate then any will do
cheers ben
-
looking at failsafe but been told i need to get rid of AA bats so what should i get ?????
Pls help
i used a failsafe on my old ts4n and it ran fine on AA's but as above it would be better on the hump pack as there isn't enough room to fit the stick type batteries, you defenatly need one as brick walls make a right mess of your car when it hits it a full throttle lol
hope this helps
cheers ben
-
sounds like it was just a bit damp then or something
to start with yeah i think i was but when i took it to bits again today i noticed something that i did wrong (dumb ass) lol i'd put the liner back in but the port for the exhaust was slightly out so the gases were leaking back
anyway up and running again so cheers for all your help and info
cheers ben

it's runnin well happy now, i can play out tomorrow now

hi just wondering if their is anyoff road tracks or clubs around the conglton area????????????????
keep gettin moaned at of the local "A" holes for racin my rush over the football pich
-
just tried again and it fired but would only run at full throttle, as soon as it fell below it cut out and now wont fire and doesn't even try
when i stripped it i checked the liner and crank case and all is good, piston and con rod are ok and the fuel is coming through the carb fine so don't know whats happened
-
(hi could anyone shed any light on this problem i have with my rush evo?? i was out with it the other day and did't see past the jump but some kids had dug a hole to make the jump higher (little t*+ts lol) so i've hit the jump and yep you guessed it the car landed wit a splash and cut out
so i removed the plug just to make sure it hadn't sucked in any water which it hadn't, went to try and resart it but no joy. took the car home and stripped it but everything looks fine inside the engine (nothing bent) tried to start again after rebuild but doesn't even try to start
any ideas guys)
still no joy, changed the glow plug and charged the lighter but still wont fire up can anyone help cause i'm about ready to smash it with a hammer lol
-
just took the liner out and it's ok but i've just found the problem, i think my glow starter is faulty as i have just tried the plug again and it seens to be bright then goes dim and then really bright again don't think it's charging correctly as i only charged it up the night b4 i'd took the car out........
-
when you stripped it did you blast it out with WD40 just in case a droplet of water is stuck in the carb etc?
Also check the whole caseing see if the water has caused it to crack due to it going from 1 extreme temp to another
will go and strip it again now and check will be back in a min cheers
-
hi, have you changed your glow plug to a new one.
no but when the head was off i checked to see if it glows and it was really bright so i thought it was ok

i got my hpi firestorm (nitro) today (cheers modelsport came in 2 days), any way i am reading the instructions so i can run it in this weekend and i am a little bit confused.
here are the instructions that i got.
any way is this screw A and B
and is this screw C (the bottom circle)
what i want to know is the instructions make it look like the hsn and lsn (A+B ) are the same screw? how does this work?
would i be better to follow the running in guide in the nitro section as it is more detailed the instructions?
Lastly what are these bits that i got
- i geuss these are to adjust the suspension spring rates
Circle 1
circle 2 (second pic top circle)
circle 3 (second pic bottom circle)
hi ben yes your right the top one is A+B and the lower one is C but i found for my rush and ts4n the running in guide to be much better so in my opinion i would use that mate
the little bag of plastic cips and washers are the shocker mod parts and the servo mod parts if you use different servos
hope this helps you mate cheers ben
