aha, thats just what i'm after. thanks

yeah, i kinda figured it would be something like that. they dont need to be those specific values, provided they're in a 2:1 ratio and are as small as i can get away with. 20:40 wouldbe good, its just i have limited space for the larger pulleys

hey guys, been a while since i've been on here but i need some assistance with a little project of mine.
the project is a secret i'm afraid
i'm kinda wishing i hadnt got rid of my old ezstart, would have been handy but basically i need to know a few measurements:
diameter+length of the shaft from the engine
the dimensions+size of the bolt holes
and if possible, how much space there is from the centre of the glow plug to the edge of the motor [ie the clearance for the cooling head]
any help would be greatly appreciated.

been a while since i've been on here. so here goes.
currently been working on a project, 'tis a secret, but it involves belts and pulleys and could do with some advice.
basically i need to know the sizings of the following pulley sizes: inner diameter, maximum outer diamater, maximum thickness.
32t
16t
8t [if they even exist]
i'm afraid that pulleys are an area of rc i've never dealt with before, so i have no idea if they are of a standard size or manufacturer specific, provided they'll run the same belt i'm not fussed.
any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

He probably does a lot less miles than you though, thus has less emissions over the year.
The only real fair road tax would be if it was abolished and put on the pumps, then the more miles you do and fuel you use, the more tax you pay. Simples.
but we already have insane tax at the pumps, that would just make things worse.....
-
flex aint exactly a bad thing though

dont think number 2 needs any more votes, but i'm voting for it anyway.

I love the press release from his family :
"The next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink,"
shame the moon is hiding from me tonight, but for the rest of tonight i shall be raising my glass to a truly historic name, a legend in his own lifetime, and proof of what humanity can acheive when we really put our minds to it.

sorry, what? a car, regardless of its use on the road, remains YOUR posession, in the same way as your legs are, its like telling someone they cant walk down the street with shoes on because 'its a modification to the original manufacture of your feet'.
mate of mine had a discovery 2.5tdi, he got it ecu chipped for more torque, power and as a side effect he also got an extra 5mpg out of it and less emissions. goverment tryin to tell us that is a bad thing?
-
news going around, supposedly he had heart troubles, and now at the age of 82 he is dead
i'm sure i dont need to say how the world has lost a great man, the likes of which i doubt we will see again for quite a while. details have not come out yet, but i hope he went gracefully content in his accomplishments.
consolations to his family, freinds and colleagues. may he rest in peace

Isnt the leon a VW in disguise too?
true, but the octavia has a bigger boot
-
skoda, because they are no longer awful, and are in fact, volkswagens in disguise
-
its ironic that the reason for his killings was he hated the liberal goverment, and he got such a light sentence, oh well i suppose the good way to look at it is he only has 10 guaranteed years of safety from the relatives of those he killed...

not sure they removed all the unnessecary stuff there, looks like an over-complex design to me [/lightheartedsarcasm]

hemistorm evidently doesnt seem to realise he's piling badass upon badass, maybe he does and doesnt care. we shall probably never know
