Hey Winston, welcome to the forum mate 👍
If you post some pictures of your damaged RC then somebody here with the 'know how' may be able to look at it and help you diagnose the problem

Price? Pictures?
May be very interested in this

Hi James. I am in Romsey, near Southampton. Wouldn't mind driving to Portsmouth or maybe meeting in the middle somewhere. I am fairly new to the hobby and haven't found any good bashing spots yet. Our local skate park is always extremely busy.
Hey man. Ah nice one, I know Romsey a little bit as i've worked over that way a few times in recent years. I'm not new to RC's myself but instead returning to the hobby after a far too lengthy break! Picked up a WL toys buggy which is a bit of fun & soon gonna get my old nitro Losi LST monster truck up & running again (hopefully!). Also gonna treat myself to a 1/10th brushless truggy at the end of this month so that will most likely become #1 basher
Yeah mate i'm definitely up for meeting somewhere, I know a few really good spots around my area. But depends if you're willing to come all the way to Portsmouth? Either way i'm up for it so we can try and get something organised soon. I've sent you a PM 👍 -
Brilliant idea! Hopefully that keeps all the crap out mate 🤞

Born Petersfield, grew up in Cowplain then moved to Copnor, till i ended up in the north of England
Ah really, haha. That's quite funny. I know all of those areas well. I grew up as a young kid in Denmead, then moved to Horndean when I was about 11. Always out with my mates in the Cowplain/Waterlooville vicinity. Lived down in Eastney, so not too far from copnor, for a couple of years when I was 18/19 and now currently living in Finchdean. Been here quite a while now. It's lovley. So how come you ended up moving to the North of the country then?

Looks fantastic with the F100 shell mate 👌 And some wise words there too. Don't upgrade if you don't have to! .....well, maybe sometimes though

Hi mate, i'm very interested in the Fastrax bag. Could you please give me the dimensions of it? (I want to make sure my RC is gonna fit!)
-
Well I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with sticking with what you know. Buying new tends to be the best option in most cases, and maybe most especially here because the parts for the HPI may be hard to source now that they've been discontinued.
So really it just depends on whether you're willing to give the Rovan a go and hope that's its similar enough to your old Baja for you to enjoy it the same way.

I am looking for a used hpi baja that isnt silly money and that isnt trashed. I shall keep my eyes open but theres something nice about buying new.
Might've found something here that's pretty suited to what you're looking for mate.

Hi there mate, welcome to the forum 👍
That's a shame that HPI have stopped making them now. But there is an alternative! There's a company that makes a copy of the old baja and they're meant to be pretty decent (fast & reliable enough).
At the moment they're only £360 on Banggood if you want to take a look

Good stuff mate! Looks like you've made a really nice job of the conversion. 👍
And from watching the video it seems like she has a decent bit of power too for the size of it. Props to you mate

Hey Adrian, welcome to the forum mate 👍
I also have a WL 144001, great fun little RC. What upgrades are you thinking about making to yours?
-
Hey Billy, welcome to the forum mate 👍 It only costs as much as you're willing to spend, start with something cheap/mid range & work your way up
-
Nice video mate Those triples really do sound lovely. Is that just the standard exhaust or do you have a nice pair of cans on there?
-
Very nice mate, a good pair of RC's to have. One for speed, one for bashing, right?
-
They look beasty! 💪
