Bought a new car this week, so took my old stereo out of my previous car before I traded it in.

Its a Kenwood KDC-W7537U. All the details can be found here:

Unit is in excellent condition, no marks or damage that I can see. All was working fine before I removed from my old car.

Comes complete with trim, mounting bracket, wiring harness, ipod cable (USB is built in), instructions and removal tools.

 

This was a fairly expensive unit when I bought it - but asking just

The Rogers LS3/5a was the original BBC mini monitor - they are an iconic design, and good examples change hands for lots of money.

The new Kef LS50 is marketed as being "inspired" by the LS3/5a - quite tempted with a set of these tbh...

 

Tried to find a picture on the web of the B&W P5's that I have - found this one:

 

 

They are still v.good speakers, The B&W's were always quite smooth sounding (originally ran them Bi-amped with Cyrus powers & PSXR's) - but my hearing is starting to roll off on the top end and I'm thinking of something a bit more lively (like the Kef's...)

 

I've started to listed to a lot more music on the system recently as well (mostly Spotify and streamed stuff), so thinking of putting some effort & cash into the purely stereo side of things...

- but also want a new projector to replace my aging non-HD Panasonic :\

I had a Denon 3805 receiver, that was a few years old, but well built and sounded decent.

Are all the diffs smooth and the drive cups good?

Diffs all fine, no issues. Drive cups good, no indication of damage or wear. All working smooth with no issues.

 

Any screws missing, rounded or spinning?

No

 

Have you the engine mount and or screws?

Unfortunately not - I sold the engine separately and I left the engine mount on when I sold it. doh!

 

Shocks with oils and smooth/straight?

Shocks all work fine. There is also a a full shock rebuild kit in the spares with new shafts, seals etc.

 

Any specific damage or marks?

Car is used, so obviously the underside shows scratches and marks from running on stones and gravel. When parts have been broken, then I have replaced them.

No dodgy wood screws or bits held together with zip ties :-) 

 

How are the shells, any splits anywhere?

Both shells have a small split front left of the nose, you can see in the pics posted - this is where the steering servo linkage sits and always seems to happen with the X1CR shells.

• shock towers

• cnc knuckles

• braces

• steering

• carbon radio tray

• universal drive shafts

• alloy toe ins

• captured hinge pins

• alloy centre diff.
