Nope, certainly can't, which is why I just do the music at random, I don't have much rhyme or reason for choosing a particular breed for any given video
In which case, might I suggest a video with some PJ & Duncan? or perhaps my personal favourite Survivor - Eye of the tiger. Perfect bashing montage music

And that was with my 4000kv motor so yours should be great on 3s and 2s

25/26 pinion and stock 87 spur is nice and nippy on 2s and I've used it on 3s without any real heat issues.

Hi mate,
overall length is 340mm
width is 170mm
wheelbase is 240mm (few mm either way)
all sizes are are within a couple of mm too.
hope it helps mate
Hi Ross,
sure is, I was thinking it would be perfect for the little ftx scale trucks.
hope it helps, cheers.
Silly question I'm sure but for wheelbase is that like, the central point of the wheel arch or what? Cheers mate. It sounds pretty close to fitting you see depending on where the wheelbase measurement is from and to
-
Could you give me the dimensions for the dodge ram shell please mate? Width and wheelbase... Thanks pal.

Good call for the axle hexes. They look a good shout. Like you said just flatten the axle where you need the grub to bite.
Very interested to see how this goes
-
Cheers guys. Just check them out and I may just got for one of them tbh. Might put them in my storm and stick the hpi ones in the boys new pede.
-
ZIP TIES!! they hold people AND esc's just great.

I use double sided 5mm padded tape.
Never had an issue. Maybe it's a curse?
You could try some hot glue? Super strong Velcro? A combination of everything?
-
I had that issue with mine however I was running stock brushed 15t motor and HPI esc.... I had the issue though using the stock NiMH battery as it just couldn't provide the power when it needed it. Using 2s I've never had that issue. Possibly the esc could have a high / dodgy LVC level?
P.s. awesome name for it lol

Cool. Certainly looks right, I may just give that a go, for the price it's not like a real kick in the crotch if it doesn't work.

I'm looking to see if anyone has just the receiver from the set that usually comes as with the RTR set.
Just the receiver, see pic.
(I have the tx coming with a truck I just bought so just need this to get going. Otherwise I'll buy a simple set as everywhere I've looked this rx on it's own is going for £25-30)
Thanks.

Great. Thanks for the advice. I may grab a few to have as spares just in case.

My opinion is the RCbitz are better value for money, but the plastic is softer than the traxxas ones. But I am still on stock ones with no issues, I just have a bunch of the traxxas ones in my spares box, and some of the rcbitz, hence why I test fitted
So quality wise the traxxas ones have a better hold and are a little more robust?
My stock ones will hold, but at the slightest landing it doesn't like or too sharp a turn with power it decides no, im off out! and the shaft comes out the end.

I was gonna say i'd probably go with the rcbitz ones. but good to know there are a good couple of alternatives. cheers
let us know what you go with and how they hold

I took my E-Firestorm out to a new place. I broke it. Nothing Bad. IT CAN TAKE A BEATING! Its Amazing!
Do you guys know if these will fit the Shafts on the Stock Shocks? Mine keep stripping and need a cheaper alternative. HPI's are too expensive.
I have the same issue. Recently ordered some of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=272528067734&&&adgroupid=40680863174&rlsatarget=pla-301351234235&abcId=1088866&adtype=pla&merchantid=101458285&poi=&googleloc=9045255&device=c&campaignid=805981323&crdt=0&chn=ps
Those taxxas ones look about the same, if not a little shorter. At that price you could probably just get them and see. Only pennies really, relatively speaking. And if they're good then you will have just saved everyone here some pennies too lol

It's almost a shame sometimes to bash holy hell out of them after making them look so pretty and clean lol.

Some clips from today's bash. Everyone loves a bit of slo-mo
How did you find the gyro?? Did you notice a significant improvement in handling?
The slow mo near tea bagging was priceless lol

I was gonna say going by the normal way of doing it it'd be 0.18 amps. If you can't get that setting (no experience with other chargers) id say evssv is spot on with 0.2

Ive neglected my baby recently, mainly due to taking the rx and tx and putting them with my kids new birthday present (traxxas pede) so i'm left with a motionless car. I was thinking of getting one of the flysky combo's but not 100% which as i've heard mixed reviews on them. But it needs to be on a budget really.
