Anyone got a hpi rs4 3 evo+ front a arm ? Just need the standard plastic one but also interested if you got aluminum pair

Masking tapped a load of gap between body and chassis for my ingenious idea lol took the car up the park where there's one of these football caged pitch kinda like asphalt but with sprinkled sand ... 0%traction 100% nitro drift madness !!
great fun huge clouds of sand massive sized drifts and best yet next to 0 rubber tyre wear and no sand in side the car itself

Scrap that I got it sitting sweet ...brakes and no cut ... Doesn't want to run away on idle and decelerates properly ... Hpi sure didn't have the screw in right at all thankfully I'm a fairly fast learner ... Loving rc cars ✊

Hmm the rotor part of the carb still isn't reacting to turns of the idle screw ?

Figured out the issue .. Seems hpi employee had installed the carb wrong the idle screw was not in its runner so the idle screw turned but had no effect on the rotation of the carb

So today my hpi rs4 3 evo+ (brand new) and I've started the run in process .
first tank on idle done had to lower the trim a bit as it seemed to high of a idle for run in
so problem is I'm now doing bit of throttle and figure of 8 runs abd when I just let off the throttle the car to free wheel the car continues on driving , it does slow down gradually but not how it should be
also if I touch the brakes the car cuts off instantly , I have the throttle trim pretty far down just to stop the car from running off on idle
maybe factory settings wasn't set right ? I've looked in the manual for the settings but it's all jibber Jabber to me as I'm rather new to all this

It's really not a bad body right sadly not my cuppa Tea tho so the body will probably collect dust when the s15 body paint ect ect gets here

I think hpi do a s13 body with light buckets , think it's called discount tires s13 body ..... That's about as much help as I can provide ?

So I'm looking at buying a new car ..
must be touring and a RTR package and nitro powered
been looking at maybe a
hpi rs4 evo 3+
kyosho pureten (fw series or v series)
any input would be great

There's a skip as in if I rotate the drive shaft to move the car forward something skips so the drive shaft rotates but the wheels do not turn like there's a few teeth missing in the gear but I've checked everything over and no damage anywhere .. So I dunno I'm stumped

So today I pulled the rear transmission apart not one tooth looks bad or even worn away nothing damaged everything in transmission and out side of the box looks fine but still getting a skip when trying to move the car forward lol on the upside just got some cash put back for a hpi rs4 evo 3 waheeey... But still this ain't over yet ? it will be running ... Eventually lol

Here in the next week or so I'll be looking to buy a hpi rs4 preferred a rs4 evo 3+ any one selling one ?

That meshing looks fine, check the cups that your driveshafts go into, the grub screws holding them on might have come loose. If the engine is revving well with no bogging down then it's most likely a transmission issue
Took your advice pal and everything looks okay to me can't see anything loose , at the minute I have the fuel tank and electrics box off and it's come to my attention that if I roll the driveshaft backwards everything grips and car moves back fine but If I do it forward it skips somewhere and car doesn't roll forward ...

Sorry to sound stupid but by the mesh on the clutch bell you mean the teeth on it?

Yeah fast learner me (points to the 80 odd magazines) lol
I can't get a video right now cuz I need use of the other phone , but as much as I can tell you now is when the throttle is applied the car moves but not very much almost like something is skipping or slipping also there's a noise when applied throttle but can't explain the sound .. Visually the drive shaft is spinning fine and the two cogs at the back of the engine are fine with no sheeted teeth

Problem solved ! New servo saver and handles fine .. Got the car started went for a little run and wahey new issue
throttle but car moves dead slow even full throttle still slow moving it will pick up speed eventually but I cut it off and went back in the house as something is for sure wrong

The eBay seller sent me a second one today so I'm guessing he has few of these cars as it was the same brand

Hi all relatively new to rc cars I have a brand new hpi rs4 3evo+ I've had the car few weeks and things have been fine but today I've had a issue .. It was 4wd but now I'm only getting front drive no rear ... With the car elevated when I turn the rear wheels everything fine and the drive shaft moves with it as it should but I see that the gears don't move at all so I'm guessing the issue is in the centre box any ideas ?
