  1. I've got a lot to learn and have zero luck the now. I replaced my faulty servo with a Futaba S3003.

    It's absolutely woeful.

Can anyone suggest a mid range servo that I won't be entirely underwhelmed by?

    It's to go into a TT02 fwiw

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I have a brand new set up in struggling to get up and running. The servo is an Alturn AAS700STD

When I turn left it's fast then dead slow to return. When I turn right it's dead slow but returns fast?

    What am I doing wrong?

Other than that, is the motor mounted accordingly to the motor mount given the size of pinion your using?

Thanks Chris this was the issue. Feel a bit embarrassed now! Everyday is a school day.

  4. I have a brand new set up TT-02 chassis Tamiya 540 motor.

ESC is set up ok servo is working, motor turns.

The shaft on the chassis is turning all the wheels however when I put the motor in position it just bleats, won't turn.

If I hold the motor about 8mm above where it should be it turns everything fine?

  5. Aye, I've been reading the scare stories about fire/explosion/death scenarios.

Mibbes not the best idea for me being a novice. Should I go for a 3200 nickel battery instead? It's a 3.2kv motor (I don't know what that means BTW) :)

  6. Hi,

I'm very new to RC my other half bought me a car for Xmas. I fancied going for a brushless set up so purchased the Radient combo.

To be honest I know next to nothing about RC so here's what's happening. I rigged up the brushless kit but after just a few minutes the car goes dead slow and 3 audible beeps are heard every time I go to nail it. It's a 1800 battery (I don't even know what that means)

After reading the manual I get the LVC function, is this what's happening and can I turn it off or will I fry something?

Figured I'd ask here, thanks in advance.
