Has anyone had success with using plastikote to paint their lexan body? ive heard mixed reviews, some say it works fine some say it flakes on when bashing hard. i want to paint my Losi 5 body which is very think plastic and quite rigid so i dont think flexing would be a big issue? can anyone shed light on this for me? or tell me of your experience thanks.

i have it running with a new carb now. im going to put a gallon of 25:1 in it and then move to 28:1

Yes I have an ultrasonic cleaner at my work. I will strip it down pop it in there and put new gaskets in and see what happens.

Update, put a new carb on it. And now she runs sweet.

what would be the best way to flush the engine out?

when i got it, it had smelly old fuel in it, that had evaporated and left the remaining fuel very oily, so i drained it, took the carb off and cleaned it but it still does run 😣

ive tried that and no use, ive ordered another carb just a cheap one, if it works ill buy a genuine walbro

filter is brand new no oil on it

also like to add when i take the plug out its very wet. i have tried resetting the needles to factory.

Hi guys I bought a second hand 5t and I'm having some issues. Firstly it wouldnt run. The fuel in it was very old and very oily so I drained it all out and put fresh in. I eventually got it to run but it will only rev up when there is no air filter on it and when I rev it up it looks like exhaust or vapour is coming out of the carb. Also it won't idle. As soon as you stop revving it dies. Any came accros this it isn't the original engine it's a 30.5cc thanks. In advance

hi, i use a m4 threaded prop shaft, with a UJ that is m4 on one end and 5.5mm on the other with a grub screw, which slides over my HPI scream 1/8th scale motor, i use a 3 bladed brass prop on 4s lips and it is way over powered, check out the video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEUSHMBv040
