  1. Few things to note form the LIVE Q&A currently on Facebook

    - Buggy runs a stock 20t pinion over the 5ive's 19t and has a completely different FDR

    - Buggy spur gear has holes drilled for reduced weight, whole drive train is lighter to help reduce rotational mass

    - Exhausts are still being produced by venders

    - Suspensions arms are not the same as the 5ive and they're not the same as the 5ive Mini either

    - Doesn't come with an exhaust

Based on?... It's personal opinion, a lot of people don't like reeds.

A lot of people don't like clones.

So for them, it's about the worst choice...

Based on seeing one being thrashed around for 9 months in a genuine Losi 5ive and never missing a beat while constantly hitting over 19,000rpm....

It's a seriously impressive engine for it's price and capacity.... And there's really no need for the rolling eyes.....

And a whole lot more! Do these things actually "break"? ;)

I've yet to break mine and it's had some very bad landings from 8-10 feet in the air....... And out of the 5 that's in my group I've only seen one bent suspension arm pin from a very harsh landing.

I can see the body not lasting very long tho, it's already got some nasty creases and a couple splits, I'm not a fan of that 30degree north one, the rear arches look terrible....

Now I have the 30 Degree's North panels and if you run the panels with 190mm tires ( Instead of the stock 180mm ) it makes all the difference as the tires fill the rear arch up better.

Not to mention that due to how the panels are designed the tires will never rub on them, the front section also wraps around the cage so it's stops a lot more rubbish getting in to the chassis then the stock panels do to.

A mate of mine got a low paid factory job. And all the other workers were none english.  They kept asking him why he wanted to do the job for so little money.  lol

My brother was a fully trained machine operator for a few years. But the bosses decided to 2 replace him with 2 none British workers to take over his job. They were useless

The local takeaways are always being raided for illegal workers.  So these people end up being paid a lot less + no working rights. And alot send money back home so the UK won't see much of it.

You say   can't speak or write English

Well that is 99% of parcel delivery drivers.

As I said, if none English people get a job over you then you're doing something wrong.... No employer would get shot of an employee who was earning them money..... I speak to dozens of employers a day and I've yet to meet one who would replace a hard working employee who was making the business profitable.

  7. It always makes me laugh when people say migrant workers are taking jobs.......

If someone who can't speak or write English, has no money, no education and no contacts gets offered a job over you, how **** must you be.....

Which would you prefer, a layabout British person, not done a days work in his or her lie, expecting a house and other state handouts etc...  I call these people society deductors, they add no value... They are of British descent, but actually undermine the fabric of our society.

Those are the people I deal with and they won't have it that easy next year, and neither will visitors to this country either ;)

    Changes the function, mine has

    Clock

    Total run time

    Resettable run time

    Pulse

    Current RPM

    Max RPM

Run time isn't user re-settable, I emailed the manufacturer a while ago and asked.

You have to break the unit open and pull the battery from it to reset the run time, which is easier said then done.

  10. Can we do the equations please, I miss doing all the voltage drop calculations and current potential of cable based on ambient temperature and other factors....

Don't get to do them since I stopped being an electrician :( ..... Was the best part of the job...
