might be worth upgrading the radio system at some point, it looks like it is running a crystal based system at the moment have a look for a 2.4ghz radio and receiver. Byron on here is selling a new one i think

HI all selling my hobao H2 Comes complete with the following: Brushed Motor (HPI not sure on the turn but i know it came out of a brushed firestorm) Brushed ESC (HPI) Savox Steering servo and metal servo horn Hpi Receiver 2.4ghz Hpi Transmitter 2.4ghz It has firestorm shocks on the rear It does need some rear tires, they are usable for driving around the carpark but they are bald and would be useless for racing i would have thought Have a look at the pics Open to swaps/trades £70 Posted to your door Thanks

yeah i was thinking around that might be worth just moving it on as i mainly do crawling and the odd bash, it will sit and do nothing.........

Just finished rebuilding this has a hpi brushed motor and esc, 2.4 ghz hpi radio ready to go with a fresh paint job. The back tires need replacing but the fronts are good. It was just a bit of a project really but thinking of moving it on as it's not really a car I will put to use. Anyone got any idea of its value? Also has the pro metal under chassis plate. already painted mate, i was going to attempt a spray over the top but as far as i know one bump and it will all crack and flake off

Hi All Does anyone know what type of plastic the X2 body is made of? I only ask as if its the lexan i know it needs special paint and to be painted from the inside, if it just plastic i should be able to paint over what it there now? Thanks

HI mate this might seema silly question but having never donw this i am confused Where do you place the fuel pipe? Do you put it into the drive cup before you put the dog bone in either end so the dog bone sits central, ie it cant move either way into the opposite drive cup? Hopefully that makes sense

Hi All I picked up a ftx viper today thats looks to be in good order. Is anyone familiar with these as the guy said he had been running it on 6S! I am pretty sure that is too much for one of these and i would have stuck to 3S had it been me. It is the brushless setup and has a fairly large motor on it but i still tend to think 6S is too much. I will not be running it on 6S myself but i am wondering if any damage could have been done to the esc?

Wow thats gorgeous I am hoping to get mine out this weekend if the rain holds off which it is suppose to. I am still using the mini lipos in mine i have two but not sure how much run time i am going to get as i don't think they are more than 2000 Mah. I need to mod it like yours so it will accept the bigger packs. Are you using Nimh for the added weight?

nice buddy i like your twin hammers i set the esc to crawler mode and it seems to have eliminated the pause. I think this is on the understanding that the truck is going to be used slowly. I will set it back to a normal (forward pause reverse) for anything other than crawling. I dont think my twin hammers esc has a drag brake but my scx10 does :)
