  1. The thing is there to prevent the bearing rubbing on the shoes. The washer shouldn;t be touching the shoes, but rather sitting on the flywheel nut.

That it does :) thanks nitro.

Last one, its all together, but as you look at the engine from the side, the clutch bell doesn't completely cover the shoes, theres probably .5mm showing, the screw is tight and everything is rock solid together so to speak

  2. Never had a problem fitting clutch shoes and springs. I just use a small flat bladed screwdriver to lever the springs into place one by one

Just make sure you know which way round the shoes need to sit, and make sure the spring sits properly in the groove on the flywheel nut when you are done.

If the shoes come with tiny washers to go under the shoes....fit them.

Oh yes...and take your time. It can be a bit tricky to get the things to sit right, so take your time and keep cool :)

LOL literally just managed to put them on... a little help from a q-tip to hold the shoe out so I could get the last one in and a few choice words.

Next question though.. on the exploded diagram the picture shows an m5 10x0.5 washer between the first bearing and the shoes, does this washer sit atop the shoes so to speak.. from what i can maker out the inner clutch bell bearing sits on top of it?

  3. Just about to start pistol shooting here in Jersey Ci where gun laws are quite different to the main land. The people I stay with work with the local pistol club so I have a choice .40 automatic match pistol, .357 magnum s&w or there's the .45 s&w revolver, and various .22 pistols

  4. Got my new starter box which is my first one, but is distinctly lacking in instructions, all the clips how are they setup or what should the be used for I've seen pictures of them attached but unsure how they are adjusted to the car

  5. I have found the Ofna tank is not good as there is a problem fitting it and it may just interfear with the rear shocker. I have found there are 2 good helpers with half tank lean. One is refill before it gets to half a tank. The other is thanks to Mr. T a well respected member of this forum, I have used it on all my Savages and there has been a few.

You get one of these     wp87fe7984_05_06_zpsxikb2afy.jpg

and put it in the pressure line from the exhaust to the tank with the arrow pointing to the tank. It will act as a one way valve keeping the pressure even.

As Nitro says if it is not botheriing you then don`t worry about it

Got one of these just to give it a go

  6. Random question, can this be bought easily, not talking about the small bore plastic stuff. I need a couple of the main concrete cast sewage pipes the ones wide enough to crawl through. I remember my primary school had some years back.

    Got a project going on

  7. I used one for nearly a year....had issues with it glitching, loss of signal and the range so I got a Flysky GT3C....again, had issues with glitching, loss of signal and range so ended up buying a Spektrum DX4C which has been perfect...no problems at all, feels much better in the hand, I now feel confident enough in my radio gear to drive to the other side of the field and not be worried about having temporary loss of signal.

I think they may have solved this problem with the switching of some plugs on the receiver, battery and bind plug are switched
