???? either way I couldn't get it to work properly, so I'll see about getting the suggested ESC and motor and hope I have better luck with that.
-
Agreed. Or new old stock at least
-
Out of curiosity I e-mailed team Orion and got a response from an Adriano Inserra, Product Manager.
Apparently these were made for team Orion by a companey called Schulze and the motor and ESC were sold together. He said there a very old design - about 15 y/o and at the time were at the best there was at the time but not really suitable for today's 'systems' (his words).
I have sent it back for a refund, still.

When is saw the price I assumed it couldn't be all that. Was

Are there many parts for them in your experience?
-
Does anyone know if these are any good.i only have Tamiya (limited) experience. There's a nice looking mustang on modelsport. Amongst he spec listing it say 540 type motor so I assume you can hop these things up in a similar way to Tamiya?
-
It wasn't a team Orion bag though. It said 'world of R/C'
My budget around

Yeah will do thanks. I'll try again. Can anyone reccomend a reasonably priced BL ESC and motor set up?
Out of curiosity, are Team Orion considered good quality items in the R/C world? The packaging mine came in was a generic bag clear back with cardboard top like you hang on a rail.

I'm trying to add a picture to see if anyone can cast more info on this, can't see any options to add pics

I know. It looks nothing like what I've seen. The instructions it came with references reverse but give no instructions on how to calibrate etc. I spoke to the guys (they have a shop in Milton keynes) and they know what's it's for etc!
This I'll send it back for a refund then ask around on here to see what's suggested. Thanks

This is what I have. I have connected it up and it dies work - I have discovered that the connections need to be spot on - but have no reverse
-
Does anyone know anything about these?
Like how to set them up. I have instructions but they really are rubbish. I've read thru and they don't make sense. It give give no specifics.

Stick controller, reciever and a servo. Acoms preferred or similar

Is the sensor cable soldered to a board in the ESC? I can see how to get it out? Don't wana pull it and screw it up.
Would you personally expect this TBLE02 to work with a 9T motor?
-
Is the 17.5T sensored?
-
The trims were all neutral, yes. How would the ESC not be calibrated if it worked already with the regular can?
I'm pretty sure tho by looking around at the TBLE02 as supplied with the kit isn't upto the job of the 9T motor. That seems to be the general consensus anyway.
-
It's a sensored motor and ESC. The motor has no polarity markings what so ever and I have tried all combinations to no avail. I did try without thre sensor wire. It turned a very tiny amount when forward or reverse was used but then nothing

It would seem the the Tamiya TBLE-02s is not upto the job. Motor I got needs 80amp, the standard one I have is 60.
Could anyone recommend me a reasonably priced brushless sensord ESC that's be suitable for a 9T motor?
(In hind sight I should have checked on here first). There is a bewildering array of ESCs ;some seem of the same/similar spec and priced from one end of the scale-

How about the trusty ol' Lunchbox. Got my boy his this xmas. Kit was
-
Yeah that's what I'm doing now, although I havnt seen anything that suggests that a the TBLE is exclusively for Tamiya motors. Could the ESC not be 'Man' enough fir the motor - as in current rating?
-
Ok. Even though it works with standard motor?
Look what I got today
