  1. Can anybody recommend a decent rear wheel/tyre set which won't break the bank? For use on a mixture of tarmac, grass, gravel. The stock ones are bold now. And are these 12mm hex as my son has a dhk wolf which is supposed to have 12mm also, but when I tried to swap the dhk wolf wheels won't fit
  2. Cheers mate, think I shall get this ordered right now.
  3. No problem burgerboy thanks for the offer, is the alloy one ok/worth getting do u think?
  4. Anybody got a spare rear camber mount for sale, dont really want to wait 2 weeks for delivery as nowhere has them in stock Vtr241006
  5. Can't believe I didn't think of just soldering the old connector on haha Thanks
  6. Well the fan comes off with 4 screws and cost as little as
  7. Any of you guys know anything about the cooling fan on the esc? Mine burn out a month ago and was told by the guy from modelsport that a 25mm speed passion fan would be ok, got it after waiting a month and it has only 2 pin connector whilst the stock uno fan esc has a 3 pin connector so it won't fit. Any ideas? I can't find a 25mm cooling fan with 3 pin connector anywhere.
  8. Nooooooooooo My wife's going to kill me, I just bought these batteries. But thanks for the advice noj, I've seen some pretty cheap turnigy 5000 30c for
  9. Haha it's annoying when that happens, I took my lad out to the park today who has his own car and today was the first time I've managed a full pack without breaking my glamis, OMG how fast, it's to fast on 3s. Thanks for that link mitchy
  10. It's neither really nutty professor just a grinding noise like the gears aren't meshed (but they are). I will try these things you mention big turbo. After taking my lad to the park with it today all 3 7.2v nimh batterys got so hot I could barely hold them after changes. Is that normal? I have ordered a temp gun
  11. Thanks for the offer Brandon, modelsport have them in stock so I will get that and need to order a wing to. EBay have lots of choice but most of it's from us and have expensive delivery prices, saying that I ordered those upgraded front shocks from us which were cheaper than anwhere in the UK and postage was only 3 working days from us to uk.
  12. Thanks Brandon I think I just need the wing and those mounts Thanks again
  13. Could someone do me a favour please, my glamis uno came as spares or repair which I fixed but it has no rear wing and a few bits seem to be missing. Could someone who has one take photos and post of the rear wing where it connects as I don't know what parts are missing. I've googled images but can get a close up of the back. Thanks
  14. Cheers guys Tried all setting and still happening. If it cant be helped it's not the end of the world. Thanks
  15. Thanks for that Luke, yes it does have motor timing low, normal, high, and is currently set on normal. I will give it a try and see what happens. Cheers
  16. Luke I changed the stock 22 to 17 with no difference.
  17. Is the (punch) acceloration of so it's on minimum
  18. Does anybody know how to stop cogging, I've recently swapped my son's brushed motor for a hobbyking brushless combo. It runs fine once it's moving but when starting 0-2mph there is a horrible noise. After googling I found this is probably (cogging effect) but no mention how to stop it. Any ideas? Thanks
  19. Looks like the glamis uno was discontinued last year. They were probably selling off old stock.
  20. Sorted, the failsafe had turned off somehow so just setup the receiver again.
  21. Yeah I got one from hobby king. I've fitted it now and works ok but when you turn the transmitter off the car goes forword which can't be right, can it?
  22. I hope not, the only thing I did was solder on a new tamiya connector on the esc as it burnt and melted to the battery connector a few weeks ago. My sons friend from school got the exact same car for Christmas and his esc burnt out too a week before ours. Just think it needs somthing more solid.
  23. Yeah makes sense, I will get one. Judging by what others have done in similar cars it seems lowering the teeth from 21 to 17 maybe a good start. But what is the pitch? What size would I need? I have read about it but cannot grasp it.
