  1. Not sure what size the car is but i usually Drill a small hole in the centre. Get a Hex bit small enough to knock into the hole you drilled. Screw it out.

Or you can use a easy out. Drilling still required.

  2. Tape the stock km tyres unless you can get some hostiles. The tyres are a real bash stopper.

I used shoo goo for my mesh mod. Worked perfect and holding well. I used a fine mesh off eBay. Here's a link. I used the fine one..

If you have a spare glow starter you can use it for cage mod. Fits perfect :)

The switch blade comes with simple instructions to follow. Once you read it, it will be easy to fit :)

  3. I've ragged my 002c around and broken 3 front arms, 1 rear hub carrier and a bulkhead twice. A smash is always going to happen when bashing. Something has to give way mate and if my arms were alloy I'd be pretty screwed.

Personally I'd wait for the 002c. Its well worth it. In my opinion its the best of all KM baja models.

I upgraded the bulkhead to alloy and find it to be excellent. My thoughts on the bulkhead being alloy was that the strength was in the right place and if I have a bad crash the nylon will give way. Which is exactly what has happened.

The thing is, whether you get nylon or alloy, parts will break and that's that.... So its break an expensive alloy part which could bend more parts or let the nylon take the hit.

Alloy is for bling, plastic is for bashing :)

Edit - Add more money on you purchase for a set of hostile tyres...... Rather spend less now and upgrade the right parts :)

  4. ok what are spares like? after watching that vid, i gota admit i want one now lol

I've have no problems with spares in U.K. Parts are also available from U.S . The only thing is you need to search with the part number to find parts :). Also a lot of the other XTM models like XT2 parts are interchangeable. HobbyStores.co.uk carry spares for it.
