Wheel & pedals are very important to consistency and finding an edge but to get going, a basic setup will suffice. Sign up and pay for your membership, there is usually a 3 for 2 offer. Run the mx5 to begin with and earn your stripes essentially. Lots of practice and focus on clean racing. Speed isn't everything in racing or iracing. In the rookie series particularly, cleanliness will get you up the licence classes far quicker than speed. Watch the video tutorials for anything you are unsure on.

i am. I have a triple screen rig and fanatec clubsport set. Enjoyed it over the years but only dabble compared to some.

1st to 2nd are adjusted in the box but 2nd to 3rd are adjusted using the grub screw. Make sure you are adjusting the correct grub screw and round the right way to make the change earlier.

entirely dependant on whats on offer fella. If its a shelf queen with mods, a fair bit, if its stock and beat up, less but either way I'd be interested.

Thicker top plate will certainly help but for now just hammer the plate flat and heat up and bend the chassis back. It will be slightly weaker but ultimately wont bend unless you crash again. Rather replace it then rather than replace now and bend a new lot.
