I bought this car 15 years ago & for 7 years it has been sitting on a shelf gathering dust.................until now.......... After a thorough engine flush & tune up, it is now running like it did on the day I got it.........Yesterday, I stripped everything from the car, so just the bare chassis remained & gave it all a deep clean & lubrication..... I also found that it wouldn't run with the shell on & kept stalling, so I decided to add some air vents & it's made a world of difference....I wanted to prevent dust getting inside, but get airflow...... (a cheap & effective mod......... emptied a tea bag, cut it in half & glued them to the inside of the shell & also drilled out the rear side windows)...........I also sourced some new slick tyres & have found a place for a replacement shell ( it's a 330mm wheelbase) .......... Due to the age of the car, I've found it impossible to find spares for it, so treat it with respect & ensure I use it in big open spaces with little to smash into......... .............If anyone recognises the set up, or knows where I may get spares, please let me know......( It was made by Sinyih, who no longer exist, although I was told that possibly Carson took them over).....here's a few pics of my hard work........ I also knocked up a handy little carry stand.....................

Thank you..........I have the original manual for the car, although I had it in the car toolbox & somehow, the fuel bottle leaked all over it, so it's discoloured & a bit hard to read......Daren't attempt to read it near a naked bulb.......... ....If you'd like me to scan it & copy it, I'll send a copy to you....

Having just seen & read through the thread put up by evssv regarding the reincarnation of his car, I thought I'd post a couple of pics of mine, as it's nearly identical to his one, particularly the suspension , diffs, drive shafts & chassis. It has a Force .21 (3.5) engine & 2 speed gearbox. I bought it 15 years ago, when I lived abroad. It was made by a company called Sinyih, which is no longer trading. It has sat for 7 years on a shelf in my house & I've just got it up & running this week........I'd forgotten what brilliant fun they are........Being that old & finding spares impossible to source, I treat it with care & it still runs as good as it did when I first got it.................

I actually joined the forum about 15 years ago, but due to living abroad & travelling until 2009, as well as a broken rc car, I haven't been on for a number of years......After 8 years sitting on a shelf at home, my 1/8th nitro car is now back up & running & I'm ensconced in sunny Hertfordshire........ What I'd like to know, is if anyone knows where or if I would still be able to source spares for my car, which was purchased abroad........It was originally made/distributed by Sinyih, which I've since discovered went bust or was bought out, possibly by Carson......or at least, that is what someone has told me, but the car by now is obviously obsolete.......The engine is an Ofna Force 21, with a 2 speed gearbox, although it's never worked & is permanently in 2nd gear......I've managed to find a company in Windsor that may have bodyshells to fit, but it's the majority of engine, suspension & gearbox spares that are proving difficult.........The car is running perfect at present, but I'd like to keep spares if possible.......here's a few pics....................Thanks for any help......
