Hi thinking of getting a traxxas slash 4x4 vxl soon, just have a few questions for you guys. When I get the slash I think I will sell the stock vxl motor and esc how much could I get for them if I never use them and is it easy to take them off from the car. Say I sell them does that mean that I cant have the TQI because the traxxas esc has gone?? Also when I sell them I will get another motor esc combo. I was wondering is it better to go for a low kv and use 4s / 5s or go for a higher kv and use 2s / 3s. What would you recommend?

hi again when I turn the pinion with my finger I put my hand on the motor I can feel its not spinning properly. Like it spins a few times but no constantly like it should do. So then people said I should just tighten it up I tried with an allen key but it wont budge

yh I took over the cover so I cans ee the pinion and the shaft does not stick out beyond the pinion?

Yh I have a soldering iron not sure of the wattage though, I may try this and if not it will got o the model shop i took it to them last time with this problem and they said it was a problem with the motor though im 99% sure its nothing to do with the motor. And yes purcheased of the net but not ebay

yep it fits in snug and when I try and turn it, it wont budge. I tried difrrent sizes not of them can move it??

hi I tried what u said I put an allen key in the gear in the grub screw but it wont twist it. I cant move it clockwise or anticlockwise im thinkin its not that that's the problem its like its still the way it came out of the factory (still really tight) any ideas m8
