  1. The cages got a slightly lower offset I was told today by someone at ms (dunno exactly what that means may be the bends at the edge of the chassis.) as they have been looking at one today to compare (May of been cml I spoke to.. Been at it all day with this and sorting out a quad copter (ps don't bother with a la trax alias as reliable as a chocolate fire guard ) This is my chassis mess.. <a href="http://s863.photobucket.com/user/James_Sterenberg/media/imagejpg2_zpsa58d12ae.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab197/James_Sterenberg/imagejpg2_zpsa58d12ae.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo imagejpg2_zpsa58d12ae.jpg"/></a> <a href="http://s863.photobucket.com/user/James_Sterenberg/media/imagejpg1_zps01370af4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab197/James_Sterenberg/imagejpg1_zps01370af4.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo imagejpg1_zps01370af4.jpg"/></a> Spot the difference (excluding angle and dirt for the smart arses out there)
  2. It's not longer at all it's just the shell that fits externally. I've tried to find the hyper ss e truggy exploded view but can only find nitro version however all the parts are the same including the chassis stiffeners and drive shafts etc.. So I can't see how it can be longer in the chassis or the drive shafts would need changing. There is something fishy going on with the chassis anyway as I've ordered the correct part number from ms for the buggy I brought from ms and I've ended up with a chassis that don't fit... I screw hole missing where on my original there is two.. And the hole left (which is for the motor mount) is in the centre of what should be two holes... It's starting to get annoying now.. Can't even re drill the chassis due to the whole being in such a wrong place.. The rest fits perfectly... Foolishly I left the motor mount till the last bit to rebuild,,
  3. I can help with the strength question it's pretty solid.. It's took me pretty long to damage anything at all.. I got over confident and launched of a big jump at my local park at about 60mph and the thing flew beautifully until I came to a sudden stop up the side of one of natures crash barriers (large oak tree) it jumped about 40 feet when I impacted but prior to that I had successfully jumped the hell out of my buggy version same shocks and the awesome.. Hardcore shocks. I've never had a 1/8th before so I can't compare but I'm pretty sure it's solid considering the rate I've destroyed other 1/10 slashes and stampedes, I am guessing most chassis would bend with the tree impact.. Same chassis on both the ss truggy and buggy.. The chassis is slightly different with the cage apparently as I'm having difficulty getting my new chassis think it may be the cage but in the wrong colour.. Battery tray fits two 2sside by side on as if they where stacked on top of each other but Ah down. If you figure out the chassis brace fits from the st or 7 let me know..
  4. If it's as good as my ss hyper truggy with mamba 2 combo you will love it and any nitro boys will be crying in your dust Hyper buggy not truggy sorry
  5. After a used spectrum dx6 for use with a blade. Any one?
  6. I can get you that rest of the items have a look on the list of screws see if any are in hard wear areas that you more likely to break if you want them let me know how many and I will look after you
  7. hi I emailed my supplier so that the query was there when he returned and he has replied already apparently the 1.4mm and 2.6mm are none standard sizes so it appear vaterra have been very clever with the hardware to stop people like me making the hobby cheaper for the general masses. sorry.. I can get the other hardware bar this however about 70+ % are this size. hope this helps
  8. I need to query the screw set I can see on the manual some seem to have threads and some don't? is this just for picture usage as I have no direct experience with this model I don't wanna get your request wrong. cheers ps doubtful on the flange nuts will ask the question thou. is its the m3 locknuts your referring too?

  11. Why you getting ride of the shafts mate? I've got a teckno set and a mip set how do these compare in your opinion?

  13. Hi.. After bending my chassis recently I'm interested in your brace mod as it looks as thou the parts would fit my hyper ss A few questions.. The top plate on your diff case? Where's that from as it appears to be the same fit as mine but with extra holes for the brace? The brace itself? What have you used and where can I get them? I'm intrested in the cnc'd chassis stiffner as I think if it's gonna go,, it's gonna go and I'd be screwing to fork out for the stiffner and bend it,, I'm a bit heavy handed with my buggy hence my caution,
  14. Theoretically any screw set as long as there not manufactor only fixings. Have you got a manual for it or screw type/size list?
  15. There all alloy cnc'd chassis but that's a lightweight one think it is for the nitro shame there not all the same. Where do you find the ss chassis for
  16. I know a Steve that works there in Cannock that all. Bit far out for me thou
  17. Hi I will find out how many would you want if so? I would definitely be able to get them but cost on rare ones can be awkward as I may have to order a full box of 500+ lol Cheers James
  18. I currently stock traxxas slash 4x4 all variants including stampede and rally but ultimately I can make sets up for any car. The slash 4x4 I sell for 15.99 for stainless or standard screws Hit me with requests and I will see what I can do.
  19. Hi it is for a buggy it's a full cnc'd chassis so it's not that dear really when you consider how much cnc'd parts cost and most manufactures plastic chassis are
  20. Keep me posted my buggy off the road for a few weeks as I mashed it up and I'm waiting parts.
  21. As far as ordering parts from the states I think your daft not to with most manufactures as there considerably cheaper check out the price difference in traxxas USA parts prices on places like liquid rc and power hobby plus delivery is cheap (or free) and only takes 10working days to arrive
  22. The parts are cheap.. Diffs are a tenner on eBay there is a chap in the states who breaks new ss for parts and there a quarter of the uk pricing and even the uk parts are reasonable ( mostly) with the odd acceptation example the front and rear steel drive shafts are less than
