Hi Guys/Girls,Time to part I'm afraid.Selling my XB9 if anyones interested?Raced this down at NDOR many times, comes with all pictured except receiver, batteries or transponder.Includes genuine XRAY parts for conversion to brushless. Team Orion Vortex R8 Waterproof ESC, Turnigy 1900kv motor and Savox 1257 Servo.Plenty fast enough and comes with a full stripped chassis of spares plus more. 2 sets of full shocks, spare diffs, driveshafts and 2 chassis.Perfect to get into racing!I have a spare radio I will include if needed.Looking for

Mines a Turnigy metal gear one. Very quick and strong. Debit card is nestled away from RC related goodies for a while lol

GTB seems ok to me. Bearing in mind it is very light, the stress on the drivertrain is minimal. All my breakages have been through people hitting my buggy, no parts have failed. Just bloody buy one! LolOn my 10th scale buggy's the diff balls need changing every few months and rebuilt after every few runs.

Oh, maybe I should maintain my GTB then seen as I've never touched it! If it ain't broke.........Less maintenance will be required and geared diffs last longer.
-
Poor part support and the ball diffs are what's putting me off of the GTB, I know that you can get gearded diff's but at

I have dude, awaiting stock from cmcMaybe worth giving them a call? 4 weeks is a long time!
-
Track is probably half size of the one I race lolBit of action from last saturdays raceday. Me and MattyV6 having a good race.
-
I've ordered some hubs from Action as they were 'in stock' 4 weeks later I still have none.
-
GTB is a great buggy. Buy one, race it, love it!
-
To my knowledge they don't fit and to be honest, I don't think it's required. Tough little buggers!hi guys soon to be proud owner of the gtb and i know it shares some parts with the gt14b , does anyone know if the t bone bumpers for the 14b fit the gtb
Gonna ramp it up on next meet. Qualified 1st but got beaten by another GTB on Sunday grrrrrrrr lolThey are epic aren't they! Ahhh yeah your keep up with and overtake the 10th buggies no probs. The 5800kv with the hobbywing esc's are like dynamite! So so quick! I agree, the Yellows do have their advantages on a really grippy track. Some of the places we race at run GT12 and the additive they use makes the track too grippy for Whites.
The gearing i use with the 5800kv is a 16 pinion and 68 spur. I have also run it with a 15 pinion and 62 spur at the nationals. They are just mental fast arent they!!
-
Was impressed with it. We have a long straight and it's as quick and quicker than some of the 2wd buggies. I prefer the yellows as they allow the car to 'move' in the corners. Because our track is so grippy it aids for sure. Will get the motor fan on and boost it up next time! Its so easy to change on the HobbyWing/Turnigy esc's. Stick it on 9, that's always fun lol. I've got a set of Yellows but have not run them since my driving my mini 8. They deffo last longer than the whites!!

Practice round went well, upped the pinch and initially prefer the yellows on our grippy track

I have the program card, running the timing standard and punch at 7 for a heat then will check temps. Not fitted the motor fan yet but I do have one. As for tires, I run whites normally but gonna give these a go!Have you programmed it with the program card? The factory settings are pretty safe. If you run a heatsink and a fan on your motor you can turn the timing up to max and turn the punch up a lot higher without it getting too hot
Looking good! Have you tried the white compound tyres?
