  1. The MIPs finally arrived so my wheels are now on properly, got it with a 16t pinion and standard spur Also with some bibirthday money I though I'd treat myself and got an etronix 2.4ghz system from eBay for 23 squid and a mini waterproof receiver which I believe is the one from the 2.4 ghz brushed vantage and carnage Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk

  3. Got my nanda block wheels and I am waiting on my nip hex adapters to arrive from the US as they are so much cheaper even with postage This is with them over the original worn down tamiya wheels!! Run one battery through it with my etronix 13 t brushless and there wasn't too much heat so thats fine even though I may go for a smaller pinion just incase, they don't rub on the chassis which is good at full lock
  4. Ah right yeah that wouldn't be ideal haha. I think it's definitely going to be buggy wheels :-) What hex adapters were you using with that or is this just on the stock hexes?
  5. I'm presuming you mean wheels rubbing? Because my main thought when looking at where the hex goes currently is that there is hardly any gap between where the pin goes through the axle and the hub carrier outside bearing :-/ I don't know if the mip conversion will fit there. Is that with truck wheels also that it rubs?
  6. hi mate, thanks ,yeah well i have been looking around and the mad bull wheels arent the cheapest either, also i have thought about it and i think i prefer the buggy look still just wondering if anyone would now would MIP 17mm hex adapters work on the df02 or if not are there any other brands, i saw some kyosho ones somewhere on a forum that fitted over the 12mm hex but when i clicked on the link they were no longer available and i cant find them at all cheers for your help anyway, had it out in the rain and mud today and its fine apart from i get stuck on chunks of mud constantly ahaha
  7. Hi guys Basically i'm new to this forum and I don't know if this has been mentioned or spoken about before really as i had a quick search and couldn't find much I have a tamiya DF02 that i got off a mate for 20 quid as he said it was broken and i could try and fix it, turns out he just wasn't very into it and i managed to fix it with a combination of meccano bits, araldite and a spare shock tower from an acme condor! the diff housing had snapped basically and i have always preferred fixing something than buying parts which i don't have money for Anyway long story short the fix is fine after 4 months plus and i have got an etronix 13t brushless for it and i am not seeing as much speed as i hoped (all about speed), i have seen people put monster truck wheels on them and with a brushless it should be able to run fine with some 2.2s apparently, i was thinking could i put 1/8th buggy wheels on if i could fit a 17mm hex, and would i be able to do that at all cheers
