I ordered and got my KM002a just before Christmas, The chap down in Rcmodelz was very helpful, I got it next day delivery too Mrs P wouldnt ket me open it till Santa had been so had to wait, Very happy with build quality, everything tight and locktighted up when I got it so I think their attention to detail has improved from older reviews. Mine started no problems at all first time out, Still only had two gentle tanks through it but I can feel it getting sweeter. It is VERY noisy though!! Fitted a kill switch and did the pullstart mesh mod & taped the tyre foams on Christmas day Looking forward to it getting a bit drier outside so as I can go & terrorise the local golfcourse ;-) Over all im very happy with its build, quality and the radio gear that came with it.. Also got a wee bag of spare, which im GONNA need!! Lol Cheers Gc

Space it using a business card To gap if Off of flywheel

Is the coil close enough to the flywheel? I took mine Off to fit my killswitch before running It I read that you should use a business card to space the coil pickups close enough Off the flywheel Just curve it over the flywheel and itll keep the coil close but not contacting Then once secured spin the flywheel to make sure it doesnt rub Fingers crossed for you mate G

Couldnt be that your coil is badly adjusted and not picking up from the flywheel & not getting its pulse to the plug?? G

I feel your pain buddy! From what I hear the lads at RCModelZ are very helpful I'm sure if it's nothing simple they will just sort you out. Mine started no bother straight outta the box. Wish I could help. Cheers

Hi, I get one weekend off in 4/5 My regular day off is a Thursday, so will probanly wait till your next weekend bash in Feb or so till I can plan it (**** job I know) Look forward to it though lads Cheers G

Hi Lads, Just signed up here, was pointed here by Rossyra Just got a KM002A from Santa I used to have 1/10 elec & then moved to 1/8 nitro That was almost 20 yrs ago now. So, working 6 days a week and getting one weekend off a month truly limits my "playtime" , I have managed to get almost 2 tanks through my engine now and I recon one more and I should be run in. Looking forward to hooking up with some like minded chaps soon All the best for 2014 Gary
