Firebolt. Its just dead?? Tested another through the esc and that was fine??
-
Took them out on grass today. Broke 2 mounts, lost the nut and bolt hold from the bottom of a rear damper and burned out my motor
-
Are there any tougher wheels you can buy for these? Completely separated the centre from the rest of the rim!!
-
Still better than the standard ones though
-
-
The cc01 is lower, a lot more refined and 4x4.

They're carson 85mm dampers. In hindsight 75mm might have been better on the front.

-
Ha ha. I just find them convenient. Easy for my son to use.

Do you find the 15t Firebolt has enough grunt for a monster truck, although I don't have a LB I have a Bush Devil and it is very slow accelerating with the Firebolt in. What batteries are you running?
It's alot of grunt when you consider it comes with a 27t as standard. I use the Firebolt in my ftx buggy with a 4200mah and it balloons the tires

Quicrun 1060 ESC and 15t firebolt landed for LB2 yesterday, I shall be instructing our lass in the ways of LB fettling
I've got the same esc coming. I use one in my buggy and never had an issue.

Get that 5th shock mod done and your laughing have fun!!
The previous owner has saved me the job and done it already

Oil filled dampers, esc,15t firebolt, ball races and radshape alloy bumper ordered!! Can't wait
-
Cheers. Just so i know what to order.

Pm me your PayPal details. Any idea what the esc can take? I'm planning on putting a firebolt 15t in first.
Oh. Is it ball raced?
-
Any pics and price?

Project car wanted. Ideally a roller with a shell.
-
Has the bottom one gone?
-
I put a cheap 3kilo carson servo in my son's car and it does well.
-
I really want the second. I'm desperately trying to sell some corals to get the money together
-
I think he means the old ford f truck body.

I saw the ftx vantage in person today and I must say, I prefer the truggy look. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Himoto Katana, imo the best looking truggy I've found and seems capable of taking some abuse. Any last words before I order one?

The motor lives on took it out and put my buggys firebolt in. The original has a loose connection on the can. Just needs soldering
