  4. I've been looking at the os a5 but that is the new designation for the old os 10, so might that be too cold? As you mention Mccoys, a few sites have mentioned that they're heat ranges are simillar to os, so might look further into that. Im not looking for out and out performance as i think i have just enough capacity to have the engine more to rich without sacrificing and fun, just temps down and slightly leaner than factory setting. Should have the rest of the needed bits in the next few days, so fingers crossed Allan
  5. I have a set of the oop savage ones that i was waiting on getting new cv shafts before fitting, ill get them out tomorrow and try and mock one in there and see Allan
  6. Hey, i can't find os9's anywhere, 8 and 10 no problem but not 9, they don't even show the 9 on the os site. Can i ask where you get yours from? Or which other plug would you say would be a suitable replacement for it? Thanks Allan
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dynamite-DYN7687-CVD-CV-Shaft-Boots-4-Black-Savage-25-X-/291809796999?hash=item43f1382387:g:3mEAAOSwZ1BXeUXH Here are the first ones that i came across on the bay, hpi use to make them for the savage but are long oop EDIT....... Just noticed the postage, ill have another look for you Allan
  8. Yes the engine runs fine, even putting a savage up onto 2 wheels at half throttle, just the temps are way up Thank you for the offer, i have a few 21-28 pipes here, just need to get a manifold to fit the engine, with the sale of my savage i should be able to get one. Should have linkages etc sorted mid week, so ill report back once done. Thanks again Allan
  9. Hello, im sorry, i mean no disrespect, im just cautious of buying from members with low post counts as i have been had before (not this site), im not saying that you are that kind of person, i hope you'll understand that im just covering myself. Allan
  10. The engine is untouched by me bar turning the carb, yeah i had read up that the bigger the capacity the cooler the plug, something about the colder the plug the later the detonation, the rossi plug was the only one i could really find that was less than a tenner (was tight at the time), the rossi plug is an R6 which seems to follow the hpi temp rating/numbering, but ill try and grab a couple os9 plugs aswell as a new pipe and seal the packplate and carb and give that a go and let you know. Thanks all Allan
  11. Hey, im sure there are some of you running a force 32 (well i hope so), im running byron 25% with factory carb settings but the engine seems a little on the hot side, i have am rb fuel filter, traxas 5493-t-dc-r resonator pipe using a ROSSI R6 cold plug (i've read that larger capacity engines need colder plugs), i've not opened it up in any way, just turned the carb round (needed to for my truggy), it has a force fan flywheel with alu shoes and 17t c/bell. Can anyone tell me if i need to shim the head or are force 32's meant to run hotter than the 28's i've ran before? Thanks Allan
  12. im interested in a couple items, but before i continue, could i ask anyone who bought items, have you received them? I mean no disrespect, i just want to cover myself. Allan

That engine is my force 32 and is not included, it still has the savage engine mount and exhaust manifold attached to it which is why it is in the pictures. Aslong as you accept that this is bought as seen, with no engine clutch or exhaust pipe, no steering servo, no rx tx But dose come with new fuel line, 6v hump pack (with on/off switch) fuel filter, stock wheels and exhaust manifold (would you like the used over engine rollcage that i have too?) aswell as fiberglass shell and some fiberglass matt and resin to repair. Im sorry to spell it all out like that, im just covering myself, as i've said i have only had this a week or so and haven't gone over it other than to throw my engine into it and take it out (plus opened the easy access diff cases to see what diffs it had. Payment would be by paypal, you can send me your paypal email in pm aswell as your name and address, so i can confirm it via paypal, as ill only send it to the paypal address Again sorry for this, im just covering myself So yes i would accept £75 posted Allan

I've just received this truck and haven't gone over it, so would suggest doing that. I would say the shocks could do with new oil, and i was going to re oil the diffs (but never got round to it) steering servo, slipper pad for the spur, engine and your own tx rx. There is a hoabo throttle servo, a 6v hump pack inc Forgot to say (if it makes a difference) that i think the truck has cvd's all round as they all have blue boots over them, just thought id mention as i've seen some trucks that don't have cvd's. There's an purple fuel filter on the truck too Allan

    Hpi savage

Ok, with the stock wheels including postage and fees, the lowest i think would be £85 Allan
  17. pug=309

    Hpi savage

Well postage would be about £15 tracked and insured Price wise, how dose £100 including postage and paypal fee's, and ill let you choose which set of wheels you want? Allan

Hi, i have fiberglass here that would throw in to fix it. Yes i can post Allan

    Hpi savage

Steering servo not included, one of the tank mounts has split where the clip goes in but a wee bit glue would sort that, the engine mount and exhaust manifold bit, hump pack and new fuel line is included, there's also a spare easy access diff case. The stock savage wheels are included but the ones on the truck are not (unless we do a deal for them), i also have some fiberglass mat and resin that i was going to use to fix the rear that ill throw in aswell. The gelcoat can be easy fixed/filled and (my plan) was to possibly fix the gelcoat and wrap the shell. Price wise im no sure, so let me know if your interested in it then we can hammer out a price that we're both happy with. If you want pictures of anything specific, let me know EDIT..... I also have a new stock over engine rollcage that ill include, i cut the one on the truck as the fiberglass shell didnt fit with the cage round the engine Allan
  20. WOW, that's way beyond chancing, thats bleeding highway robbery Allan

I have a savage roller, not sure which, but it has easy access diff cases with bulletproof diffs, easy access 2 speed gearbox, 47t steel spur (need new slipper pad), the rest is stock looking, shocks could do with new oil, i even have a used awc fiberglass shell, the shell is very used, gelcoat is cracking in a few places but no visible damage inside except at the rear where i had started to di some repair work by cutting a small long section out on the back panel as it dirt and stuff inside the layers there from sliding along the ground ( i guess), still very sturdy. I can send pictures if you wish? Allan
  22. Anyone else want to add to this list for the first page? Allan
  23. Hey, yeah, the tank isn't really that different, but different enough not to fit. While searching for potential replacement tanks, i remembered that it was mentioned above that the lightning/trophy series is a clone of a clone of a clone of a clone of a Kyosho inferno (which tank is a double for the gtx's), i came across a pic of a trophy buggies tank, and it has the angled top that i need, or atleast it looks like it dose, can anyone confirm this please buggy tank thats angled at the top and bottom Truggy (the tank i have) squared off top and bottom Now another question, hpi say the truggy tank is 150ml, with the visual look of the buggies one, will that be the same or less? Here's the gtx as a roller. Truggy chassis inside the gtx-2 chassis Anyone looking for a truggy chassis Allan
