I was gonna get some Bondhus then i was lookin round on a Heli thread somewhere and it pointed me towards this http://www.pbswisstools.com/en/quality-hand-tools-qht/key-l-wrenches.html

Showed the old man, who loves his tools bein an engineer, he sneered at the price, 10 mins later he says " Hmm my tool allowance hasnt been touched this year "

  3. The white one he did, the green one is on ebay. to nice to give away
  4. let you know, seems a lot of pissing about for 12 quid lol, the shoe goo cost that let me see if my pal wants it, if not I'll list it.
  5. make us an offer mate ? Not sure what the postage is gonna be either. I ran this on 4s, 5s and 6s. This one hardly seen much use as I quickly swapped it out for a castle XL2. Forgot to add, it has 6mm bullets on as well.
  6. What tyres onepastyman ? Was they belted ? Lol I wouldnt entertain 6s on unbelted tires
  7. I changed the shock over to some stiffer ones ( hip hellfire yellow springs on stock shocks ) the other one were just way too soft for all the extra weight, and took it over to a car park with some badlands on, fifteen minutes after belting it around on Tarmac and it was sound on 52t spur and 21 pinny, no temp readings but it was nowhere near breaking a sweat on 6s. Jobs a goodun for now look ok what I did to my kitchen floor doin a burnout prior to this . stupid git
  8. Cheers for the reply. The Hyper 7 is running 30 pinny, and I "think" a 47 or more on the spur and that runs cool as a cucumber on 6s. Not broke a thing on that yet, and I've only done light bashing and speed runs. Ive got a combo in each lol
  9. hi guys, need a bit of advice for pinion options for my hyper ST, I've just put a Castle 1717 and an XL2 on it, and I'm wondering where to start gearing wise. i have a 52t spider diff in centre, and spider diffs front and back with hyper 7 pinions on them ( hyper St ones didn't agree with the front and rear diffs ). I've got 11, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 26 pinnies. what ya reckon to keep it sane ? cheers hukt
  10. No worries, and apologies buddy. I just dont have much time to use em now, let alone faff about with parcels, thats what christmas is for Oh and ive edited the post, its the diff mount only, the spider is getting put aside. I should change the photos to show that, but the site doesnt display correctly on my ipad, edit buttons arnt there.
  11. Hello mate, sorry, I've changed the way I'm splitting it so I'm not left with any bits and bobs or a thousand parcels. 1) Complete front and rear end. - IRC big bore shocks and mount kit - Hot Racing 17mm hexes - Alloy front hubs - Integy rear deletes - Mad Max arms dyed green - ALZA bulkhead braces - Wheelie Bar - Machined bulletproof diffs, all shimmed - Everything else that's connected to those parts ? (SOLD) 2) ALZA centre diff mount £(SOLD) 3) Flux battery boxes and mounts £(SOLD) 4) IRC XL length Low centre of gravity TVPS + skids + braces + ESC PLATE + and steering servo mount + 1 IRC Drive shaft and 1 XL drive shaft - ( no battery box mounts included ) £70 all in 5) Hitec 7955tg servo itch alloy Answer servo horn £45 all in 6) Alloy steering rack ( make unknown ) with bearings, spring, posts and servo arm £15 all in 7) Hobbywing Xerun 150a esc £SOLD 8) Spektrum DX3s with SR300 rx £SOLD
  12. Cheers mate. Ive got 2 shells in good condition aswell, and found a 2.4 tx rx for it plus some spare sintered diffs among a heap other stuff too. The rollbar is pretty sturdy, but ive snapped one of the posts on the grab handle prior to fitting those arms so theres a bit of movement.
  13. Sorry forum is acting weird when editing posts. spider centre diff all alloy chassis braces no tx or rx hitech 7955tg servo heres some pics http://pho.to/9jeh5
  14. Hi guys, I've been off the scene for a while, and not had much time for RC'ing. With the 4 that I've got left, I've decided to keep my Hyper 7e's ( mine and the missus), and decided on selling my savage flux. Ive had this for about 3 years and it started life as a Savage SS, it's a whole new truck now. It's a shame to see it go, but it's the one I use the least now, as I love the speed and agility of the buggies. ill list it's spec as best I can. IRC Big Bore shocks IRC Flux TVPs Mad Max arms Alza Centre Diff Bullet Proof Diffs Alza Bulkhead Braces Alza skid plate, plus a custom one mounted on top, as the Alza one had no groove and diff made contact. IRC shock mounts, top and bottom custom front mount for esc / ex. Castle 1717 ( black can ) Castle XL2 esc , cap pack proline badlands integy rear deletes hot racing hexes alloy steering rack hitech servo, can't remember which but I'll update wheelie bar
  15. Hey buddy, ill have this if its still going. Pm me paypal details etc, and ill send you the funds. Cheers
  16. Nah, only place i can mount it like that is up front but then because the way the tvps are, its a bit awkward, starting to regret getting the irc tvps a bit, the alza stuff seems to have a lot more accesories
  17. What tvps are those mate ? The IRC ones arnt like that on those locations. The one side of the tvp is lower than the other on mine
  18. Hi guys, anyone got a flux xl with a MMXL2 mounted to it ? I just got one to go on mine ( figured with a 1717 it would be wrong not to ), and I'm wondering how to mount it up. I'm using the IRC xl tvps, with the mid tank irc mod for the front plate to mount esc, RX etc to, ALZA centre diff. The tvps are just a bit shorter than stock xl tvps. I've mocked a few things up which I wasn't happy with. So any pics to get the juices flowing with a similar setup ? Or should I just go ALZA 5b tvps and be done with it ? Here it is before I removed the esc/ RX box Here it is with bits removed If only the TVPS were the same height on both sides above the motor, would be an ideal place to knock up a plate and mount it, a lot if not all the tvps are the same it seems. Up front is a bit awkward, as the IRC plate has lots of cut outs, so it makes it pretty damn hard to mount it directly to that. Bar all that, it's a cable tie job, but I'd prefer something a little more permanent and secure.
