rainbow road?

recently been clearing some land and have about 120ft x 80ft for an off-road track, been looking around for some information, i was wondering what ideas you guys could come up with? mainly for 1/8th

I am looking for some information on this beastly piece of kit, it's all original and i would really like to get it moving so i can sell it on to someone, the original battery has some sort of strange tamiya connection that is two circles instead of the tamiya connectors today, i want to know if anyone has any advice on where to get the certain connector so i can try to charge the 35 year old NiCd that is probably gone past its life but i would like to try to see if it works, also in it's current state i would like an approximate evaluation, i have seen only one on ebay for £599 that is in mint condition, this one is too but the shell needs a little tlc, it also has the original transmitter and receiver. here are some pictures:

Roughly around 46cm in length and 20cm in width (i think its slightly less) it should fit, it does say it will on the hpi website and yeah that is including postage
