  1. Regarding the chassis choice, I have seen someone I believe on rcuniverse.com or scale4x4rc.org running this body on a CC01 chassis, it it close enough to the proper chassis and suspension setup (solid axle rear and independent front). Let me look if I can find the link to the thread.
  2. This guy (headquake) does awesome work. Have you guys seen his other builds ? He made a wooden body Dodge pickup too, I will look if I can find the threads. I like the fact he is from Canada too This wooden escort is super cool, it handles so nicely, and he puts a lot of attention to the details for his videos too, he slows them down to look more scale. Edit: His dodge Fargo pickup thread: http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=57136 And a video: http://youtu.be/o3kHAvBHKvg
  3. Really nice! Love the stance, your signature pic is way cool with the rear suspension compressed and countersteering
  4. Very nice project and set of wheels! Really matches the car. Have you tried running it slightly higher? Kind of an old school drifter Painting the inside of the spokes black makes a big difference. I have just bought the same wheels, in gold color, for my escort mk2 build. But I tried +6mm offset and it does not quite fit in my case. Are yours 3mm offset? Here is a pic of my wheels in 6mm. In this pic the chassis is sitting on the ground, and body sitting on tires, so please ignore the chassis to body alignment: Since you guys appears to like old school escorts I hope you dont mind if I post a link to my thread (build is not completed yet) : http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=73820 And a few pics of the progress, these are tamiya mini chassis (M01, M02 etc) wheels and tires, 60D tires: First prototype of my front strut (still need to revisit the design once I am done with the rear end): Fred
